Morning. Welcome to our new thread.

We maybe have rain today. I really hope we do! I have no ides when we last had it.

I'm baking with the kids today plus potting some plants on. Exciting. No idea where they'll go, mind you!

Only 2 days left of furlough. Yaaay for the financial side and booooo otherwise! 😂

Ah I love it fluffy!

Trying to sleep but have had a vixen screaming for the past ten minutes Hmm

Mrsmadevans · 31/05/2020 22:37

Evening everyone Smile
Had awful hay fever today , my eyes have been terrible so sore and watering , nose been running , sneezing like a fool. I took tabbies and feel much better now thank God Hmm .
Don't really know what to think of the new guidelines re Vulnerable ppl. Mum will stay with Bob until lockdown is stopped and we are free to drive around. So Bob can go up and down and we can take her up and down too. Weather has been so lovely but of course it brings the hayfever on, l can't remember it being this bad before but it probably has Grin
Hope everyone is fine, am off to bed soon am knackered Hmm

pussycatinboots · 01/06/2020 04:38

Fluffy I never thought of it like that. Stress non-eater is a perfect description. Couldn't face eating. Felt permanently sick and anxious. Totally exhausted but couldn't stop/relax.

Love your Coo.

Got up to make a brew at 4 and in their excitement to escape the kitchen, the cats knocked a chair over Hmm DH shot out of bed and down the stairs as he thought the clattering was me - he didn't fall over this time, so his BP must be ok Grin

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 01/06/2020 06:06

Coo looks amazing! From today we can drive 5 miles for exercise yay!

The thinnest I have ever been was for my wedding. If wasn't intentional but in the space of 7 days I had my wedding, Christmas, dissertation deadline and major presentation. I was so busy I just kept forgetting to eat. Also was so run down I got a UTI which meant I spent my wedding night in the hotel bathroom Sad

Morning!

Wooooo, Most. 5 miles! Does that take you anywhere exciting?!

Boots, oops re your DH. Good BP test though! 😂

I've just got back from watering the allotment. Had to boot a woman off the tap who was filling a butt. Actual plant watering takes priority, IMO!

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 01/06/2020 08:06

We can go to the canal and the boating lake anf Goldcliff fluffy so we are very happy :)

Can't believe she was filling a water butt!

NoWordForFluffy · 01/06/2020 08:29

People fill butts all the time. But they can't take priority over actual watering, I don't think.

And that's brilliant for you! You'll be able to do so much more.

Just back from Morrisons...Mrs the deli counter has reopened no more plastic ham for your mum! WinkGrin
They also have a huge pile of Miracle Gro compost.
Got a rotisserie chicken for lunch - just out of the oven Grin so will do a heap of salad with it and have some for tea on some rolls with stuffing.
most take some pics of Goldcliffe for Mrs and us

Mrsmadevans · 01/06/2020 16:37

Mrsmadevans · 01/06/2020 17:22

Water pressure was down at Mum's today we had a job getting the butts filled for the pidgys baths Fluffy so l know how irritating it can be to have to wait for others to fill their butts Grin
Been to see to Bob & Mum, they are fine , have found his shorts and he has them on love him Smile
Done 2 weeks tablets for Mum 396 tablets Shock
The other pic is out by Bob's in Llangorse it's beautiful there l wish l had a camera that did it justice. Sorted them out then we
went to Morrisons in Brecon on our way back , they really have their act together , 2 ppl on the door, one in one out, cleaning stuff, gel, aisles taped right down the middle lengthways so no one able to bend over you or get too near, it was excellent fair dos Smile
Boot l saw the counter was up and running but they had Pork for lunch today so l didn't bother to get any today but thank you for the heads up Smile
Most that is fab you can go to them all, l wait for some pics with baited breath thank you Smile
Just about to have a nice cornetto yummy!

Mrsmadevans · 01/06/2020 17:23

i'm repeating myself Grin Grin

pussycatinboots · 01/06/2020 17:50

Mrs you need a lie down and a Gin repeating yourself like that.
DH only has 5 tablets a day, dad had 15 a day which was a lot to sort out - can the chemist sort them into blister packs, or are there too many?
I'm crap at taking tablets - it takes about half a pint of water to get a paracetomol down Shock
BTW you're repeating yourself, Mrs Wink
Lovely view.

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 01/06/2020 17:57

You definitely deserve an ice cream Mrs :)

Pond is in the ground!

NoWordForFluffy · 01/06/2020 18:11

Good going, Most! Is that in your garden?

Mrs, you've turned into Fred Elliott! 😂😂

Boots, I've got better at taking tablets as I've got older. I used to be useless!

I currently take 1 x vit D, 1 x vit C, 2 x apple cider vinegar and 1 x antihistamine per morning. The vit C is like a bloody horse tablet, so I snap it in half.

When my shoulder was bad I felt like I rattled I took so many!

Lovely photos, Mrs. Where were poor Bob's shorts?!

Did you enjoy your chicken, Boots?

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 01/06/2020 18:31

I keep having a nightmare that I've missed days of my important , life saving medication ( I don't actually take any medication BTW except a Statin which is hardly life or death )

I find myself wrestling open the bedside drawer and shouting at DH
"Do I take tablets, Do I take tablets "

He's Confused but used to it now.
I have no blinkin' idea why I do this !

I made Banana Bread with my Lockdown flour and sad bananas . Mary Berry recipe , didn't have walnuts sadly , they are lush in banana bread.

Mrsmadevans · 01/06/2020 19:38

Bloody hell this thread is nearly out we have chopsed a lot in the last month.
70 now we know you don't take tabbies we can tell you as well if you forget Grin
it WAS semen stains on the trackies Grin
Fluffy l loved Fred Elliot Smile poor Bob's shorts were in his wardrobe , l managed to find 4 prs for him , ahh he is such a sweetie , you would all love him Smile
Boot they have refused to do dosset boxes for my Mum , they are useless, they never have her tabbies ready despite them being ordered at least a month before l need them Hmm GRRRRR!
Fabulous pond Most you have done a great job of that well done !

l'd keep it for myself to wallow in like a big fat hippo in this heat it might take one of my legs

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 01/06/2020 20:29

It is in my garden fluffy :)

Here it is now :)

Countdown to Christmas 2020 - Lockdown: Peaked! (Thread 5)
Mrsmadevans · 01/06/2020 20:55

That really is excellent Most well done love, l can see now how much work it must have been Smile

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 01/06/2020 21:01

Mrs he might have diabetes and be a dribbler (I'll give him the benefit of the doubt rather than your theory Xmas Grin )

Lovely pond most it needs some frogs in it .
Is it safe for hedgehogs , they can fall in looking for drinking water , wee souls . Is the flat board a Hog Slide?

My stomach has its own postcode Xmas Hmm my boobs and bum are ok , its the middle bit . If ( IF ) my holiday hadn't been cancelled I'd have put mega effort in but I'm going nowhere this year so I'm in LockDown Doldrums.

CrazyBaubles · 01/06/2020 21:36

I have a bit of a mind blank when it comes to tablets. I've been taking some for bp for about 3 years now and still, if I'm out of routine I forget them 🙄
When I was doing fertility treatment I had alarms on my phone and watch AND DH had to call me to remind me to take them.

Nice pond most

I spent the afternoon sat in the garden (in the shade) until next doors dogs annoyed me enough to come in. I'm trying to write my own Christmas crochet patterns and make things I can either gift or sell come October.
Today's project was to make a gingerbread man and it's taken hours to get one I kind of like 🙄

Mrsmadevans · 01/06/2020 22:02

Pah! l have great experience in these matters @70isaLimitNotaTarget Grin Grin
Crazy l can't remember a damn thing l am hopeless! Hmm great idea to make your presents and perhaps sell some as well Smile

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 01/06/2020 22:15

Nice work on Christmas crazy.

I have one end piled up with stones 70 to make a ramp for any critters to get out. I will put chicken wire on the plank as soon as I can get home of some to help things grip onto it too to get out. Tomorrow I am going to get some sticks to put in to help as well :) My understanding is that hedgehogs are good swimmers but just struggle to get out so should be able to use my stony ramp :)

pussycatinboots · 02/06/2020 05:08

Fluffy Chicken was lovely. Saved having the oven on and making the already too warm kitchen even hotter. Plenty left for sandwiches later.
most I love the little "slipway" so if anything falls in they can get out.
I have serious pond envy.
The cats haven't woken DH up this morning - they've had their breakfast and are now asleep (dining table and sofa) DH is snoring in bed.
Going to catch up on some TV while it's lovely and quiet. Smile

Morning!

Another gorgeous morning. It's meant to rain tomorrow though. Hope it does, but the forecast keeps changing!

I'm on the way to the allotment. I hope butt woman isn't filling again or, if she is, that's she uses the next tap down which she can teach but I can't. That would be sensible, however.

Boots, enjoy the peace.

Most, the pond looks so peaceful. ❤️
