I'm baking with the kids today plus potting some plants on. Exciting. No idea where they'll go, mind you!

Only 2 days left of furlough. Yaaay for the financial side and booooo otherwise! 😂

Luckily I didn't do much heavy work, Neros. I couldn't have managed it in this heat. It was mostly watering, weeding by hand and the bloody fruit cage netting. Which was fun. I did do some digging at the end so I could clear weeds to put sunflowers in, but I couldn't have done any more!

Wreck, managers like that are awful. And shouldn't he managers. Good luck with the job!

Neros, a pixie cut would be a bit of a pain with no hairdressers for months, if it happened again! I have a short, layered, bob and it's really messy now. I'd love to be able to tie it back (it's at the blow into mouth / eyes length at the moment).

I have cracking tan lines. Nothing round my rings as I have a gardening glove tan which is awful! 😂

I'm knackered now, it has to be said.

Most, Love Crafts have sent me a 20% voucher. I might have to use it! 😂 Like I need any more cross stitches.

Is it based in one place?

Mrs, I'm even more tanned since that photo was taken last weekend!

What cheese, Mrs? We're having cheese later on.

OP posts:

Nice tan! Impressive re the bikini. I don't own / wear one anymore, thanks to the children destroying my body!

I'd be raging with ours if they did that. Thank god for your neighbour!

Loving all the tan lines Grin

I know you will all be proud of me because I finally got round to sorting out all my tangled cross stitch threads!

Also made homemade naan bread for the first time today and they were fab :)

CrazyBaubles · 30/05/2020 19:10

most I've saved both the websites you've linked. You'll have to stop posting them, I'm going to end up spending £££ 😂

Congrats on the interview Wreck and Shock at the dc locking you out!

I'm jealous of all of your tan lines. I am pale and burn so easily that I don't ever tan. Being out in the sun for me generally results in headache, increases bp and sunburn so I've been mostly either inside or in the shade. Judging by my colour you'd think I haven't been outside 😂

I've done some yoga, just eaten a hotdog, a burger (without bread) and some salad which was delicious and will be going to walk the dog soon. It's been a nice day Smile

whydoesitalwayshappentome · 30/05/2020 19:31

Good luck Wreck, you will find something soon I have no doubt.

I have no tan lines to show you all as I have been either at work or inside the last few weeks.

NoWordForFluffy · 30/05/2020 20:16

You don't really tan anyway, Why! White >> pink >> white. 😂

Most, homemade naan is amazing!

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 30/05/2020 22:35

Evening everyone Smile
Most excellent stuff making your own Naans Smile
Crazy am exactly the same l never let myself go out in the sun without suncream or shade, l burn badly & it is not funny Hmm
Wreck Flowers Thank goodness for your wonderful neighbour Smile
Fluffy l bet you have a gorgeous figure , talking about figures after having a baby , we watch Countdown and Rachel Riley the presenter has got her figure back in no time at all, she looks amazing. I think she must be very disciplined and she says she's vegan as well , all credit to her she looks wonderful and really healthy.
I better get to bed have a good night sleep everyone Smile

Morning!

I'm on the way to the little Sainsbury's in the village to collect some birthday bits for the kids. I've been to the allotment to water before it gets busy / the water pressure drops. The kids have stuff growing in their raised beds so will be happy. I have flower seedlings coming through at the front too, so I'm also happy.

I put 12 sunflowers in the ground yesterday as they were enormous, but they had to wait their turn! Hopefully they'll be magnificent!

Mrs, I have a c section overhang and separated stomach muscles. Otherwise I'm slim! I just look a little bit pregnant in the wrong clothes. 😂

Celebrities have time and money to throw at being slim post-baby. I'd prefer some to be more realistic! I don't like RR; I think she's a vacuous so-and-so who would happily throw her fellow womankind under a bus!

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 31/05/2020 08:23

I have horrible stretch marks on my stomach and it's definitely not flat but I don't care Grin it's not that bad and looks better with a tan.

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 31/05/2020 08:34

Can I please join the post partum (4 years pp) stomach that will never lose its bulge group? The rest of me is fine, I just look about 6 months pregnant in a lot of clothes Sad Doesn't help that I am also prone to bloating around ovulation when I look ready to pop Shock

Heading to the allotment today too. Will take some of the sunflowers I think as not space for all of them in the garden :)

NoWordForFluffy · 31/05/2020 08:50

Sunflowers get eaten in our garden but not so much at the allotment, so they're all going there!

I have to spend the day weeding next Saturday. I've not had time this weekend and I'm not going back - other than to water - until then. I'll have more runner beans to throw out by then. And squash. I'm drowning in squashes. 😂

My leeks are starting to perk up now they've been in the ground a few days. Hopefully they do well.

If I win the lottery I'll have a tummy tuck!

WreckTangled · 31/05/2020 09:02

I also have a really saggy belly button from when I had it pierced then got the dc!

Dd wants to make cupcakes today. I can't be bothered so I'm going to try and get her to do them on her own.

NoWordForFluffy · 31/05/2020 10:33

Oh yeah. My belly button is bizarre. I put that down to the split abs, but the piercing may not have helped!

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 31/05/2020 10:39

I actually managed to bring strawberries home rather than them being instantly eaten by DS Grin

Also DS has just requested Christmas songs so we are listening to Jingle Bell Rock Blush

Countdown to Christmas 2020 - Lockdown: Peaked! (Thread 5)
CrazyBaubles · 31/05/2020 10:52

The strawberries look tasty most.

I don't have dc but my stomach is horrible. I let myself get so overweight that it all stretched out and now I've been losing weight it's getting saggy Sad. I've also got a weird shape, the middle of my stomach comes in a little, as though I've been wearing trousers that are too tight. Sigh. I'll settle for looking half decent in clothes and feeling comfortable.

I have washed on the line and my housework is done. I can't clean anymore! Going to do more yoga - I'm not even remotely flexible so I've been doing it daily and it makes me ache but Im enjoying it. Not sure what else to do with my day.

NoWordForFluffy · 31/05/2020 11:47

We have washing on the line too, Crazy. And I've just cleaned the bathroom / kitchen / utility / dining room woodwork. They were filthy! The hot dry weather = loads of dust.

I'm going to shower then head to Aldi for fruit and veg. Then I'll relax!
