Here we go again! It feels slightly bonkers setting off again before today is over, but it's tradition, so who am I to argue?!

Hello! DS2 in our bed snoring softly, DD in her room probably doing artwork on her tablet. Hopefully she's in pyjamas so I can wash the uniforms, then I have to make DS2's lunch, all before DD goes to bed at 10, then I can fall into bed. 😴

Somewhen isn't a word either! Anytime and sometime are the 'official' words.

It reminds me a bit of the use of 'while' in Sheffield. As in 'When are you working?' '10 while 2.' So used for until.

Language is fascinating (English graduate).

It’s crazy foggy here, DH walked the dog earlier over the park and said he couldn’t see his hand in front of his face. I love the school runs in the fog. In other news, are any of you watching whitehouse farm? I’m hooked, but no one I know is watching it

Mrs, it's a tough course as you have to read so many books in such a short time. If you aren't a fast reader you'd be doomed! Plus there's always a handful that you HATE.

We couldn't see the top of the Liver Building yesterday due to mist. It was weird!

Which Fitbit is that, Wreck? I can't wear a heart rate monitor one as they burn my arm! I've a very basic Flex 2.

It's a Fitbit versa 2. I had a charge hr 3 which I really liked but couldn't get my sugar levels on. Sold it to a friend and put the money towards this one.

Last working day of the week, ending with a meeting with the area manager. Not sure why. There's lots of changes going on and apparently she wants to discuss then with me and my colleague.

Someone I work with was given one of those for Christmas, but she was burned by the HR monitor too. So Fitbit has refunded her husband.

Sounds intriguing, Wreck. Any idea what kind of changes they are?

Yes I know many of the changes. We've always been a 0-19 team but they're splitting it again and us 5-19 are having a new manager and a new base but I like my manager and don't want to move bases so hoping I can stay

Wreck I had a similar starter kit from my aunties and uncles when I moved out - everything from anti bac spray to towels to an iron. Was amazing and I still have some of the towels

Also, as Fluffy said, I think studying English lit dampened my love of reading for a while. We did a colonial literature semester and I hated every single book I had to read for it.

Biddy busy as ever but some self care can only be a good thing.

Hello PSB! How are you?

I took nephew to what I thought was a rugby practise yesterday and it turned out to be a match so was stood there for over 2 hours in the freezing cold instead of the hour I was expecting!!
I was in a rotten mood until I'd eaten and warmed up so I didn't post.

Am in work and it's busy but I'm finishing at 4 today and have a free evening which I'm looking forward to.

DD1 was a voracious reader until university (history degree). I think the amount she had to read for her degree put her off reading for pleasure for a long time. Crazy she would sell her granny to live and work in Italy. She spent a semester in Rime studying for her MA. Shame, her only granny is my cracking MIL but if DD gets a good price for her it will all be worth it 🤣

My dsis does football, crazy, she’s 19 now but still goes. We went to watch her the other Sunday and I didn’t enjoy it at all. I even had a flask of Bovril and I still wasn’t warm😂

Been to Mum's , did her shopping , got her mended teeth from the dentist she broke the bottom plate on Monday 😂
Mended and cleaned her hearing aids again 😁
So she is sorted watching 'for whom the bells tolls' when we left her with lovely Stilton & broccoli soup a trifle & a cuppa 😋
Going home now to collapse in front of the telly 😁

Angry at a YouTuber for possibly lying about a tragic event, one of my closest friends passed over this week and I found out today, and some pieces of trash are posing as YouTubers and asking children to send them nude pictures.
