Fluffy I’m due 31st July!

NoWordForFluffy · 02/07/2019 14:01

@BiddyPop, just do it yourself! I'd have done it weeks' ago in your shoes!

Lone, my DS has a 24 July birthday. It's nice having a summer birthday!

Fluffy ooh im glad you’ve said that!. I’ve been so worried about baby, I’m worried the weather will be too hot for them.

Mrsmadevans · 02/07/2019 17:03

Afternoon everyone Grin
Welcome to our new peeps Smile
Fluffy l have bought 6 tubes of 100 ml Capsicum cream from Aldi for 1.69 a tube , l thought it wouldn't be much cop so l slathered it on and OMG l am on fire lol. That reminds me of RobinWilliams doing Elmer Fudd singing

Mrsmadevans · 02/07/2019 17:09

Biddy you need to nail him to the table m'dear lol
I have been to do a bit of shopping bought the said Capsicum cream lol, also bought some lovely necklaces and earring sets for Christmas pressies will take a pic and put them on now . I bought them from Marks, they were sold out online. I qualified for the £15 Summer beauty box so l will be giving that to DD2 for her birthday in August , l always seem to get her one of them when they are on offer it's become a bit of tradition . They are good value but you wouldn't pay 110 quid for it ever! Must go and take a pic now Smile

TheWoollybacksWife · 02/07/2019 17:14

MrsMad 😂😂

I can't decide if the bargain thread a good thing or a bad thing. I have lots of lovely bits for my DDs - eyeshadow palettes, pocket mirrors and pretty nail files are my latest purchases and I've just bought my great nephew a 3D wooden dinosaur jigsaw. My total spend so far is about £35 compared to the £90 it should have cost.

Mrsmadevans · 02/07/2019 17:33

I think it is a good thing but you have to be meticulous in what you buy and for who, l think some peps keep a spreadsheet because they are super organised, not me though lol. I went into TKMAX and put all the stuff back because l knew it was OTT though Woolly.
Also bought 2 outfits for now for my BFF baby twins, they will be visiting soon and l like to buy them a little something they are gorgeous ! I had Mums Tesco card with me , she was a team leader back in the day lol so she has a staff discount card in my name , so l had a further 20% off the outfits . So the little girls one was £2.80 and the little boy one is £4 . Have to put the pics on another msg Hmm take pics with my mobile Grin

TheWoollybacksWife · 02/07/2019 17:38

I'm dithering now over a pair of Pandora earrings for DD2. Should be £90 but they are in the sale and will be £41 delivered. But I can't decide if I'm being swayed by the reduction rather than them being something that she wants 🤷🏻‍♀️

Mrsmadevans · 02/07/2019 17:42

The DDS love Pandora but l won't buy it because l am a tight wad lol

Mrsmadevans · 02/07/2019 17:42

Here they are 😁
The talc was 50p !! Mum uses it like it is going out of fashion, which it probably is because of the cancer risk

mrs the animal top is gorgeous

wooly do you have a link for the earrings? I don’t think you can go wrong with a set of pandora earrings though

Mrsmadevans · 02/07/2019 17:47

Ahhh thank you Lone Smile l find l am such an old fuddy duddy l can't pick things for the young uns now but l do my best lol

flapjackfairy · 02/07/2019 17:48

Ooh yes I love it when the longest day has been and gone. Feels like it is downhill all the way now.

TheWoollybacksWife · 02/07/2019 17:51

These lone. I'm almost sure DD1 would like them. She wears sliver jewellery and loves Pandora.

thelonearranger · 02/07/2019 17:54

Wooly I think they’re gorgeous. They have a vintage feel to them.

Mrs I’m only in my early 20s but I’m the same. I’m not up to date with the latest fashion

Mrsmadevans · 02/07/2019 17:54

Woolly they are lovely, go with your instinct

Mrsmadevans · 02/07/2019 17:57

I think it's really expensive keeping up with fashion Lone but then l am a bit of a down to earth type . I like what l like and l will buy it but l am prob a bit miserly and a bit boring lol

TheWoollybacksWife · 02/07/2019 18:00

I've done it 🐑🐑🐑

My DD1 is about your age then lone

thelonearranger · 02/07/2019 18:00

I’m just the same mrs. I always said when I was at school that’d I hate to be popular and having to keep up with the latest trends in music and fashion and everything outside and in between. I’d rather just stick to what I enjoy and keep it like that

Mrsmadevans · 02/07/2019 18:06

YAY! Well done Woolly Smile DD will love them l am sure !
Lone, l think l was born old and sensible Grin it's alright though, you can still be a lorra lorra fun Grin

thelonearranger · 02/07/2019 19:23

wooly well I’m happy to help on any gift ideas if we’re a similar age😊

mrs I’ve always said I was born old. In my teenage years all my friends would be partying and be at home settling down with a good book😂

NoWordForFluffy · 02/07/2019 21:08

Evening!

Hi all; it's been busy on here today, so I won't name check everyone!

Busy day at work and more strawberry jam made this evening before sitting down. I'm making strawberry and chilli jam another night which sounds interesting! 🍓 🌶

Woolly, those earrings are lovely.

My Mary Berry book arrived today. It's proper Christmas food porn!

Strawberry and chilli together Fluffy? I need to make some more chilli jam. We are down to our last jar and a bit. I'll do it at the start of next month and I'll start some red currant gin too. I still have half a bottle of raspberry gin and nearly all of the blood orange one left. I saw some cranberry lemonade last week (possibly in M&S) and I think that will be lovely with the orange gin.

NoWordForFluffy · 02/07/2019 21:37

Yes, together!

We haven't got any chillies yet, they're running a bit late this year. I'll make more chilli jam once we have some, though apparently we still have a few jars left from last year!

thelonearranger · 02/07/2019 21:41

Fluffy you’ll have to let us know how your jam ends up. I like to make jam too but I’ve only really done strawberry and raspberry but I’m too scared to try anything ‘out there’
