New thread for the new month tomorrow!

Today’s my busy day at work so I should have to stay late which will be gruelling as I have a very bad pain in my back and I’m struggling to get comfortable.

My plans for this weekend are to give the house one last big clean before baby comes along and then finish getting what I need for my hospital bag.

I’m slightly embarrassed to say that last night after work I brought these gorgeous little sleepsuits and vests from Next. I know we don’t know the sex but I’m so sure we’re having a little girl, and what’s the harm if we have a boy he can still wear them it’s only pink won’t do him any harm

I've spent today just laying on the sofa as I've food poisoning. It's been a tough morning as I've not been able to keep water down. This afternoon will be spent watching Wimbledon while dd draws or plays with her toys.

Ah, they're cute! DS wore some girlie stuff. They don't care as babies!

Their birthdays are a month apart, so we have a party in the middle, lone. And yes, I do a fair bit for somebody who isn't naturally gifted at anything like that! 😂😂

Thank you Nero and Fluffy. I think they’re adorable. DH wasn’t very happy because he’s adamant we’re having a boy, as much as I don’t mind either way I slightly hope it’s a girl just to prove everyone wrong

Nero food poisoning is one of the worst things I’ve ever had. I hope you’re feeling a bit better and are able to flush yourself out soon.

Fluffy we had parties like that for me and Dsis. There’s 7 years between us though so after a couple of years the parties didn’t really make sense because I wanted to go out with my mates and she wanted tea parties.

I’ve been sent home from work, well I sent myself home. My backache is getting worse I can barely sit or stand. I’m in agony.

I am ignoring the french bread sitting there and cheddar in the fridge . Bread+cheese is the worst thing for my guts.

I'm in the Costa in Aintree Next having been to the sale.

We had surprise rain overnight. And I need to go to the allotment so I hope it dries up!

It's always hit and miss with the sale. And it was really jumbled this time, which is unusual for Aintree. I got enough stuff though; it's worth a shot!

Nero you are a wicked person, as I have no space for all I wanted to buy in that shop - but I do now have the tools and materials (and started on the train platform while waiting !) to do a small winters scene and some other bits!

If anyone has kids who they think will be big into toy story this Christmas, the forky talking toy is on amazon at 13.99 at the moment

DD's earrings arrived today and they are beautiful. I got loads of my bits from the bargain thread today including a fantastic 3D jigsaw for my great nephew.

I have had 🍷 this evening as I went out for dinner with DH so I'm definitely possibly a bit squiffy.

I need to find a Christmas craft project. I really like the look of the cross stitches already posted but I would struggle to find wall space for them. I could replace one of my rogues gallery family photos in my dining room but it's finding one that's the right size. I've done wreaths, bunting, an advent calendar, a tree skirt and a couple of nativities. What next?

It's the kids' party today. Woooo! (We just sit and chat with the other parents, so it's not too bad really!) I made the cake on Friday evening and decorated it last night.

I was wiped out last night after a busy day yesterday. I do need to go back to the allotment to do more weeding today really though. It should only need an hour (I knew it needed 4, but only had time for 3 yesterday, as I struggled to motivate myself to get there!).

Woolly, I'm glad the earrings are lovely. I've no idea re the crafting, unless you turn yourself to food items (like those biscuit wreaths I made last year!). I've no room for my cross stitches either, but it hasn't stopped me. Ooh, how about tree decorations, like the ones Emrys is doing? 🎄🎄

DD1s birthday is done so now I have to plan for Christmas and DD2 and DD3s birthdays as they are both near Christmas

Afternoon all.

Had to go to hospital this morning to get an injection on cyclizine to stop the vomiting. I haven't been able to keep anything down since Thursday and have become quite dehydrated.

Woolly have you tried the ponce thread for inspiration? I don't think this years has started yet but maybe last years has something.

Woolly have you considered a Christmas / winter blanket as a craft project? I really want to make an elaborate one which is half a Christmas tree on one side with a fireplace and possibly half a Santa on the other side but it's very ambitious and I don't have the skills yet.
I have other ideas pinned on Pinterest though (pic attached)

I am most definitely zombie bench material today. I have been out and drinking for the last 2 nights. Was nicely merry Friday but FILs cocktails knocked me for 6 last night so I had a very sore head this morning 🤕

I've been out for lunch and to watch the new Spider-Man film I may have had a mini nap and now home trying to motivate myself to do something crafty.
It's so hot today. DH practically threw himself out of bed in a strop at 1am to get the big fan out of the spare room cupboard. He was half asleep but furious, not sure why but I'm putting it down to the heat 🔥 ☀️😂

There’s a shop near me putting there sale stuff online so I messaged asking if that was them getting ready for the Christmas stock and they replied yes! And they sent me some photos for a sneak peek. Ridiculously excited

Nero, I meant to ask yesterday how you were. I'm sorry you're still unwell. I had to have two shots of antiemetic after having DS as I couldn't stop being sick. I hope it worked for you.

The kids loved the party. They were so hot and sweaty. And then grumpy (DS) later on!

Hi everyone, I haven’t been on in a couple of days and that’s because at 23:11 on Friday night our little GIRL, Olive Elizabeth, was born. She’s 4 weeks early and has a bit of jaundice but is doing great. She weighed 7lbs 2oz, so considering how early she was she’s a porker. I can’t believe I was right about her being a girl, I’m feeling very smug.

Have been poorly last two days so not been online , hope all alright .
Most awful headache, feeling sick and lethargic plus my back / leg terrible. I think it might be the tablets l am taking, either that or the bloody constipation caused by them sorry if TMI . I feel a bit better tonight thank God. I am going to have to cut down on the Co Cocodamols , l am sure it is them. I haven't even watched Wimbledon my bloody sciatica!
