Sorry if stepping on toes, but I haven't noticed a twitch thread this year, so thought I would start one
I've just twitched and bought a pair of heelys for ds(9), a ghostbusters proton pack for ds (4) and a candy grabber for dd (6). Tell me what you have all impulse bought.

Yes. DD3 turned up in the living rooms at 10:30 pm last night to inform us that it didn't matter what she got for Xmas , as long as she got a soft toy.
We spent the evening panic buying soft toys and she's getting a giant dolphin!

Today ds asked dd what she was expecting for Christmas and she said "a comb in a case" so we're looking for that but it doesn't exactly bulk things out. I'm considering getting her a dog that can walk alongside her.

You will greatly approve of the presents DSD brought with her (we had our Christmas with them earlier this week) - she got DD a cuddly totoro cushion that lights up like a nightlight! And for me, howls moving castle/spirited away socks! The only problem is, on Christmas Day do I wear No Face or Calcifer?!

Hello Twitchers!

Just wondering, nearly a week on, how your twitch presents were received?

The Transformers book I got DS was a massive hit, and they both adored their cheap watches that were put in the stockings at the last minute. Both have some SN and never really 'got' telling time but from the moment they put them on on Christmas morning there has been a background of "what's the time" and they are really starting to do well with reading the time! Really happy, possibly the best £12 I spent this Christmas :)

My twitches worked out well. So that just encourages me!

Ds loved his teddy bear bed and has been tucking his bear into it every night, and adores his LEGO Stormtrooper, we built it straight away. Dh is pleased with his watch, and the sticker activity books have already been used a lot as we've had some lunches out with relatives, Pokemon DVD watched twice already too.

I twitched properly (the others were mere warm-ups) and bought dd an interactive Sven on sale at the Disney store on Christmas Eve. She loves him (had asked for him after seeing him in a short months ago and reluctantly but nicely put him back) and it definitely evened up their presents.

dd was so pleased over the RW tickets bless her I also bought other dd a moto phone which has gone down equally well so although twitches are not the best things to do for the pocket in my case they were huge successes glad yours were too Satsuki and Casti now on to the next christmas yay!!
