The 'twitch'

Sorry if stepping on toes, but I haven't noticed a twitch thread this year, so thought I would start one
I've just twitched and bought a pair of heelys for ds(9), a ghostbusters proton pack for ds (4) and a candy grabber for dd (6). Tell me what you have all impulse bought.

Today's twitch's - anger management stress balls and Crazy Aaron's Thinking Putty for DS13.

I've twitched on cuddly giant microbes, Ripleys Believe it or not book, a light up Christmas table runner and most ridiculous of all a very large box of American honey nut Cheerios for DH which cost £12, but he'll both love and not be expecting them.

I got a set of 5 blood cells which were supposed to be for DS Christmas but he hurt himself and there was alot of blood involved... so the giant blood cells came out to make it all better. Which worked brilliantly and DS now has to have all five on his pillow each night

(I'm overlooking the minor detail that red blood cells and platelets etc are not microbes, but they are very small and cute as cuddly toys!

I want cuddly microbes and cells :( one of our first home ed projects was making blood components from clay :o

I am considering twitching on a watch for each of the kids

My first twitch this year- John Lewis pj's for dd. They're the ones from the advert with buster the dog, fox , badger etc on. Very cute !

She already has 2 Boden pairs in her sack - whoops!

I am resisting the urge to get more jammies. Just.

Funnily enough DH mentioned just now that DD really needs a watch. So I was able to say I'd found a set of two cheap ones in different colours so I'm getting them without feeling like it's a twitch 😂

On a less positive note I found a little transformer that I'd totally forgotten about - DH had bought it in a toy sale but I'd only remembered the other stuff he'd got.

So OBVIOUSLY DD needs another tiny stocking filler to even it up. Obviously. Especially as one other thing I ordered for her hasn't come back into stock yet.

And I've just gathered together all the books I've bought for them. Holy crap. 😳

Hello all! I'm in butlins and ill, very ill we all are it feels like flu, which is a nightmare for ds9 as he has suspected copd. But he has just been started on a long term antibiotic and a new inhaler so he is the worst affected right now.

I twitched on a walking cat for dd, a puppet for ds(4) and statwars clone wars dvd for ds. Because when they went in to see Father Christmas these are the only gifts they asked for! How could I not twitch

Oh no! I hope you all get better soon, how miserable :(

So the last couple of days I have twitched on a set of unicorn brushes for dc1, 2 hatchimals for dc2&3, 3D pen set for dsd, so now I have to find something for dc4 to even it out, about £50, he will be one on Boxing Day. Any suggestions?

Watches bought, and I decided to get DD the dinosaur Trivial Pursuit. She's fallen in love with it having seen it in various shops, and I'm getting concerned that the other game I'd ordered for her won't come into stock before Christmas.

I'm getting twitchy about the presents not being even. Which I know is ridiculous as they don't compare them. But I get all stressy about it

I've decided I'm not going to cancel the other game - it is very hard to get at that low a price so I'll leave it for her birthday if it comes too late.

I am trying to avoid checking my emails for this reason :o

Got a Star Wars toiletry bag for £3 for ds and a frozen bath shapes set thing for £2 for Dd.
Both needed tbf as ds doesn't have a toiletry bag and goes on camps etc and dd's bath toys have mostly gone manky.

Everybody is still unwell here, ds9 is on steroids. So we are all watching finding memo which dh brought home as a treat. Now I'm trying my best not to twitch on a soft toy finding dory

Dory was 7 quid on build a bear website yesterday. Back up though now.

I am doing a mad, time consuming twitch of making a bedding for ds's teddy bear. A bed and home made bedding for her doll is dd's main present, but lately ds has been making a bed for his teddy on the floor and asked for one from build a bear so now I'm doing a sleeping bag as a compromise. Worried it now steps on dd's gift a bit so contemplating buying her a WASHING MACHINE unless someone stops me.

I still haven't heard about that game coming back into stock so I'm assuming it won't. She will love the trivial pursuit though.

I'm fretting about all the clothes being the right size, need to sit down and go through it.
