The 'twitch'

Sorry if stepping on toes, but I haven't noticed a twitch thread this year, so thought I would start one
I've just twitched and bought a pair of heelys for ds(9), a ghostbusters proton pack for ds (4) and a candy grabber for dd (6). Tell me what you have all impulse bought.

Popped into Tesco last night and saw the 1/3 off sale. Got DD1 a beauty and the beast toddler doll with the cutest little Mrs Potts and Chip. Then had a crazy moment of guilt that the (3 month old!) baby doesn't have much so she got an Iggle Piggle as well.
This has to be the last one. I haven't got the room for all this

I may have ordered bean boozled, another playmobil figure for a stocking, a tin whistle and oil pastels oh and a skip it thing for dd stocking.
I'm close to twitching on a bean bag each somebody tell me this is a bad idea.

I twitched in LUSH today. It was bad. Even the shop assistant raised her eyebrows a bit - that's not good is it?

It was about 60 quid. Which, to be fair, doesn't actually buy you that much in LUSH. I always feel bloody ancient in there. I still can't quite accept that 4.50 buys you a ONE-TIME-USE bath bomb. For ONE BLOODY BATH! And it's so confusing, what with all the smells.

It gives me a headache it smells so strong

Lush hmmm yes I must admit its a very required taste my dd has it but I have been very very crafty and bought 4 sets of xmas sets last year in the sale half price and they smell very strong still do I figure they will be fine mwah haha

I swore I wouldn't twitch but I bought a couple of books Ita all Amazon's fault, they send me too many emails!

We have a book of words you can't translate a book of and places that don't exist anymore or aren't internationally recognized. My dses love quirky books so hopefully they will go down well.

I could cry at the thought of having to wrap more stuff though. I've told dh he must do it!

I am lying in bed, I have hidden my LUSH purchases in the wardrobe and I can smell them from the other side of the room...

I know how you feel Guitargirl I have smelled them all year lol

I reckon people who work there must carry that smell around with them forever more!

DDs presents were all bought and wrapped over a week ago... spent over budget and I've just bloody ordered a £24 mascara and pair of £90 trainers for her!!

She will be thrilled! She needs new trainers anyway but I told her no way before Christmas....

I also have Lush bombs in wardrobe drawer for youngest DD.... I'm sure she can smell them!

I have no more opportunities to twitch now. Too stingy to pay for fast delivery :o and unlikely to be in town anymore.

DH is another matter though, he's got to get a Christmas t-shirt for work and pick up a present for hopefully future DIL DSS' GF. I'm not ruling out a twitch from him! Last year he turned up at home with a den-building kit

I'm a terrible Twitcher but I didn't know people started Twitching in November, you lot are pros! I'm strictly a 23rd-24th December Panic Twitcher.

Not this year though. OK, so I may have twitched on a DVD over the weekend, but that is IT. I have a plan this year: have deliberately saved a couple of things up to do at the last minute, to occupy my idle hands and stop them twitching me into my favourite gorgeous but staggeringly expensive gift shop

I'm very very close to buying those beanbags. I did order youngest ds a space hopper as he loves his sisters but in her own words she 'isn't a sharer'

I'm about to twitch. My son mentioned last night that he's impressed with my shiny new Tassimo machine and quite fancies one for in his room at uni...of course, if I twitch I then may have to twitch again for something for my other son.

I've still got the hamster to buy on Friday as well!
