So, it appears I am MN106
One package has arrived and another is being redelivered as the Post Office wouldn't let me have it, pesky people!
To my Secret Santa,
thank you so very, very much
I have opened your lovely gifts as I couldn't wait! I LOVE the little heart you made: it is gorgeous and is now hanging proudly and beautifully in my home. I will indeed think of this amazing nest of vipers when I look at it. And as for the Italian treats....Phworrrrrr
I have been dropping very heavy hints to DH about the very same things. I shall demolish nibble them delicately and think of your kindness. Bless you. I am chuffed to bits
Wishing you and your family the most lovely Christmas. x
To my nominator:
I am so very touched to be nominated, I really am. Thank you.
I assume it is for being (as my youngest would say) 'a bissy bossy' Woolly Hugger
as to be honest I don't find too much time to wander far from the wool related threads at the moment.
Woolly Hugs would honestly not exist as they do without the most amazing Blanketeers: a warm-hearted, funny, generous bunch of crafters, donors and pompom wavers who offer their skills, time, money and support. They help to create the most amazing things made with love, to give comfort to others at their most difficult time. That is remarkable. They are remarkable. I'm very proud to play a small part in that and what can be achieved when people work together as they do here. Humanity itself.
Thanks to Mumsnet, I have also met some fabulous women many of which are now good friends. Sadly, some of the most inspiring of these women I have only met due to their devastating loss. How I wish that were different.
Mumsnet can be sparky, supportive, funny, a tad spikey even viperish
at times but it is never without heart.
Wishing a peaceful festive time to all my fellow Mumsnetters and their families and a new year filled with love. x
