New thread as this 1 is nearing the end now

I’m same date I only had 2 letters no text

12th February x

Just wanted to say… from what I’ve seen I don’t think it makes a difference how long you are awaiting a decision as to whether it’s a decline or award. I’ve seen a few people on this thread on Facebook saying they think it’s probably a decline as they have been waiting maybe a bit longer than the average wait… from what I have seen though that doesn’t seem to be the case and I think it’s just a matter of getting through the pile that you happen to be in so don’t think it’s a decline if you are waiting ages !! Xx

Also… the text thing is a bit weird. I did get one when I claimed for my son 2 years ago however when I got awarded I didn’t get a text update at all and only got a letter a few weeks later - my money was in my back for a good 7-10 days before I even got notified by letter !!

I've had one letter and no texts aswell. Think we are due another letter soon, I think they send another out about 7/8 weeks x

Your a week ahead of me they received mine on 28/12 I’m the same 2 letters zero texts.

Been lurking for a while waiting for scan dates near mine to be mentioned! Good luck with it all, the wait is a killer!

It's going so slow! I feel like all I do is check this forum 🤣 they are getting through them alot quicker so hopefully we start seeing some December soon!

24th October scan date… had no letters but have had texts, last one couple weeks ago saying they’re still looking at it. Rang Thursday just gone and said been with decision maker since 18th 🤞

I called for forms 24th Jan, sent forms special delivery and they signed it 5th Feb, received my letter Friday saying they received my forms 5th Feb is my scan date and then another letter today asking for birth certificate, I did phone up Monday last week as it had been 2 weeks and wanted to know if it was on system and the guy did say it was and letter was on way

Thank you, I might leave it another week and then ring if I’ve heard nothing. Once I know they have them I’ll be ok. I’ll be happy ( ish 🤣 ) to join the long queue, wonder why some people get asked to send birth certificates and some don’t x

I know yeah I wondered that, glad they asking now and not when it's actually with someone which I'm sure I have read before that has happened, I just dont understand why when you send evidence to prove that professionals have seen the kids

Morning not sure if its any help to the people still on tax credits but i got awarded Thursday, i called tax credits friday morning (dont report the change on the app as it won't backdate) and told them about the change and said the claim was from when the claim started so 2nd October i called for the forms and he said they do backdate to then. Looked on my onlime account this morning and its already showing for a lump sum to be paid on Thursday then my normal payment friday with a extra 74 something added to my weekly payments. The man said if i had have done it on the app it wouldnt have backdated x

I called on Friday Nd mine is with a decision maker ,scan date 27/11 .
Fingers crossed it's this week x
