DLA Wait Times - Part 27

New thread following on from part 26

Hi,
Scan date 20/09.
Phoned last week Wednesday and they said it was with a DM.
I sent in more evidence on Friday by special delivery. Will wait until the end of the week to see if it's been scanned in.
Fingers crossed I'll have a decision soon.

Long time lurker, so scared to call incase its a decline 😭😭.
Ive been glued to this forum since i sent the application off, hopefully not long left!!

I rang today and was told it will be the middle of feb but seems like everyone is getting news before then for September

I feel exactly the same I have the same scan date think I'm going to phone in the morning just why it's still with them it's not a decline and I still have hope

I was told last Friday that it should be with a DM in the next two weeks. Called yesterday and informed it’s with a DM and a couple hours later, I get the text that my beautiful girl had been awarded 🩷

Can date 02/10/23

i received a text 05/12/23 and another 08/01/24 also 2 letters in the post. Was told on the letters it would be 15 weeks and when calling up 18 weeks? It’s currently been 16+1 should I call up it will be 18 weeks on 5/2/24. Im just worried I haven’t sent enough info

Can anyone help? I was awarded DLA last week, I update my UC for the disabled child and carer element. They have said the disabled child has been added and back pay will be in my account in 2 days I have just seen my statement for this month and the disabled child element is on it but not the carer element. Anyone know why? I have asked in my journal but know they can be slow at responding. Thanks

Im the same scan date, same dates receiving texts too but only had one letter, I spoke to them yesterday about something else and was no news yet, she said up to 20 weeks, seen a lot on here from 23-27th sep so hopefully we aren’t long

I didn’t get a text until yesterday, 15 weeks. Before that it was only 2 letters.

Good luck and fingers crossed to everyone waiting on a decision. Still no news for me, scan date 28/9. I'll try ringing later on but I have the hospital with DC this morning, so I won't be able to ring until after.

@FlutterByASD i rang yesterday and they didn’t tell me anything my scan date 27th September just said call back middle of feb for update has it’s taking 21 weeks

I was awarded Thursday and I've recieved payment today.

@Siobhangrace middle of Feb 😳 I feel like they're telling some of us its longer than it actually is just to stop us from pestering them. I've seen people with scan dates around ours that have been awarded and there have been a few only a week behind us that are with a DM. I need to change some details anyway so I'll ring later and see what info I get lol

@FlutterByASD let me know what they say, I know it’s stressful! I rang to see if extra evidence I sent got there but it’s not scanned on the system yet I sent it beginning of Jan, she said to me because of Christmas they wouldn’t do end of September claims till middle of feb, think everyone is getting told different

Called yesterday and with a DM.

Not hopeful though tbh.

My daughters school is rubbish with giving feedback and answering phones and I know they will want to talk to them.

@MummyMas82 congratulations that’s really quick with being with dm hoping mines the same I’m going to ring today see if there’s a update I sent the forms off late though I requested them end of June had to return by like the 21st July but it was a lot I found the form quite mentally challenging myself didn’t end up posting back until beginning of September when my son got his official diagnosis so I think the dm will have to ring me and ask why I sent it late which I’m dreading x
