Thanks so much @Mummyrach13 for the new thread.. bless ya xx Just on hold again. Scan date 29/06, was with a Case Manager Tuesday when I called so hoping there’s a decision. Certainly won’t hold my breath though haha. Positive pants!!! 🤞😂

They only do 2 days each week?? They won’t ever catch up lol xxxxx

i rang yesterday for an update, still with DM since Monday, the missed call I had was not from DWP, they just reiterated they will ring me if needed and they always try 3 times before leaving a voicemail. (They we’re waiting on advice from the medical team) Don’t have time to ring as at work the rest of the week, got a nice cracking tension headache today!

Hi! I hope it’s okay to post in here, I need to do a DLA application for my daughter. She’s just turned 3 months old and has a congenital disease which affects her bowels. We’ve just got back from our second hospital stay with her and she’ll require surgery soon but depending on surgery she’ll need lifelong additional care to varying degrees. We spend a lot on equipment for her, not to mention the trips to hospital and the costs associated.

i see people mentioning scan date and just wondered what that meant? I an going to ring to request a form but not sure what scanning is? Sorry if I sound stupid I really don’t know what I’m doing!

@MendaciousMabel scan date is when they recieve the forms back and what day they get scanned onto the system x

Newbie here but I’m wondering if anyone can help with a few questions about DD’s first renewal.

Current claim ends in Jan but I sent the renewal form and evidence in September because I just wanted it done!

Will DWP continue to pay until the claim ends, then make the decision?

Also will the decision be made before or after DD’s claim ends?

just a little help please with UC - I was awarded 24/10 and updated UC same day and put a message on my journal but over a week later & about 5 other messages of me chasing for a reply still no reply from UC confirming the change or confirming back pay 😫 should I call or just keep pestering ? Anyone else experiencing being ignored 😂

See this is where they need to be careful because the man I spoke to this morning said they are doing mid to late June 🤷‍♀️ so they are all giving different info
