Was on hold for 1 hour and 4 minutes, spoke to a lovely lady I asked for an update she was like of course, she counted down the weeks to see how far I was, she said that I was 17 weeks tomorrow and that I am looking at 18 weeks to go to a DM so shouldn’t be too long now. So I think I got the same reply as you @Pumpkins3

@Billie1993 argh so 18 weeks is just to be with dm not for a decision xxx

@Tmxx i am hoping that’s not the case I’m hoping she said it wrong and that it takes 18 weeks beginning to end and that we don’t have another week or so wait on top of the 18 weeks, but I’m still trying to be hopeful in us all finding out by the weekend or at least the beginning of next week the latest

I am at 18.5 weeks ( sent extra evidence 4 weeks ago) apparently still not scanned on they cannot confirm.

Today just now I have recieved a letter from peadeatric team confirming my son is being seen for adhd/asd and also development coordination disorder. Is it worth sending this in so late? Or do they take that information into consideration.? I'm at my wits end calling all the time to see if my evidence previously was scanned on to be told NO an it can take weeks ( even tho I see some being put on within days) I don't want to send this an them get it lost amongst the others like my previous ones have. Can I call and update them of this? Or do they need to see it themselves?

Hoping and praying to hear by the end of this month this wait is grouling! Its more so the lack of updates I'd be so happy if I had a text each week that just said they was still looking at it 🤣 I'm sending more evidence tomorrow for next day delivery so hoping that gets scanned on before it goes to DM x

@Hams12459 did you send your additional evidence via recorded tracking or did you do it via freepost? It shouldn’t take this long for your evidence to be on the system which could suggest that it’s been lost before it even reached the handling centre. It’s worth sending the lost evidence and the new stuff again so it reaches them before a decision is made. I’d recommend sending it via recorded delivery so you can track the journey

Brilliant @BoyMumGirlMum2022 how long ago did you make the change and when did you receive the letter to say the decision maker had agreed before todays letter? X

Hi yes sent all.recorded they signed for it the next day at 6.30am but keep being told they working 5 weeks behind scanning evidence and that's all they can tell me

I was told that it would go to dm around 16th & then 2 weeks for decision but wondering if it’s worth ringing for an update as it’s been about 3 weeks now since I rang but nervous incase they say I still have weeks left xx

That’s absolutely ridiculous. I would send all your documents again so that the DM can consider your claim with all the evidence that you want them to see. I don’t believe that they’re 5 weeks behind scanning, it sounds like it’s lost somewhere and they don’t know where it is!

Wow I just called and he was awarded this morning!!!! Even tho I spoke to someone yesterday and said hadn't gone to decision maker yet. Keep going people and keep ringing. Honestly thank you everyone for all your help and advice!!!

@Mummyrach13 think boymum has been waiting for a while... I still haven't had any letter come through on mine they owe me and you roughly the same backpay for element so will be a nice amount when it's finally sorted 🙈 can't be bothered with all this waiting anymore! Xxx

Payment takes 3-5 working days to arrive. If your DC was awarded today then latest it’d go into your bank account is on Tuesday

@Mummyrach13 I got the letter yesterday to say it had been approved. Then got a message to read a letter today to say it had been processed and would be with us in 2 days.
It definitely pays to hound them though, as they'll be in no rush to pay monies owed to us.

@Mumto2sengirlsxx I was waiting 5 weeks in total, however they only owe 4 months for DCE as they added that on last month. So they owe 4 months for that and 5 for CE.
