Well done 👏

@Asdmummyhere I finally got through after over an hour of holding. Spoke to a really lovely lady , my son's claim is still in a holding que for a dm at the moment. She counted the weeks and said she was surprised it hadn't been allocated yet as we are nearly 18 weeks but it will be allocated any day now. She said I should hear from them either end of this week or beginning of next. Disappointing that it hasn't been allocated yet but also really nice to speak to someone so lovely for a change! xxx

Thismamalife · 07/11/2023 11:02

I got through on the phone after 75 mins and got told 2 more weeks! Till decision and I’m the 5/07. But disappointed really. Apparently there could be 20 more people in the holding queue before me. Anyone else my date?

EssexSunshine · 07/11/2023 11:07

Sorry I know this isn’t relating to handling times, but could anybody tell me where to send additional evidence to support my claim for DLA for my son who is under 16, it’s a confirmation of autism diagnosis.
I haven’t received a confirmation if they’ve received my application yet but I only sent it a couple of weeks ago. Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙏

I'm glad u managed to speak to someone who was actually nice. Sorry it's not been allocated yet but it could all change within a day. Are you going to call again or wait until next week? Xx

Wow really, I would honestly take it with a pinch of salt. They are telling people different time scales all the time. I would call again this week when you have time and I bet you'll get a different answer. There's been lots of 5/7 awarded these past couple of days xx

@Asdmummyhere thank you me too , was really worried I was gonna get cut off lol! yes it does make a nice change ☺️ yeah she said it could go anytime , even later today so we shall see. I haven't decided yet tbh. I will probably end up calling on Friday knowing me 🤣 the thought of going through another weekend not knowing isn't doing my anxiety any good tbh lol xxx

EssexSunshine · 07/11/2023 11:13

@Asdmummyhere thank you! You’re a star!

Watso2408 · 07/11/2023 11:14

What scan date are you 2 xx

Watso2408 · 07/11/2023 11:29

@Tmxx I'm 27/7 x

Billie1993 · 07/11/2023 11:32

@Muva25 thank you hun, I will definitely keep you updated 🩷

hey scan date buddies @Pumpkins3 @Mommaof2babas scan date 12/7 after seeing what they said to you guys I’m on hold now to see which one they say to me. We’re getting much closer now.

@Tmxx & @Sskanf I know you two are 17 weeks today aren’t you ? Now it’s that 17 week dreaded mark to see if we have to go to 18 weeks.

good luck all that’s still waiting. X

Tmxx · 07/11/2023 11:36

@Billie1993 let us know how long they say for you! And when they say how many weeks ask if that is til it's with a dm or til you get a decision!
I am 17 weeks today yes and I swear I can't bare another week! I just feel like i know I'm not being awarded because my son is under 1 so I feel absolutely stupid for even applying now! Xx

Muva25 · 07/11/2023 11:42

@Mummyrach13 oh gosh really that’s all I bloody need I’ll just keep phoning them then cos they are quick to call chattin shite about king for work this whole time while I’m explaining I can’t work due to my child’s disability

Billie1993 · 07/11/2023 11:44

@Tmxx so far 20 minutes in on hold so probably got a long while till I am answered yet, yeah that’s why I am calling as seen different things being said to different people on the same scam date so I wanted to see what they says to me, ohh I know the feeling about not wanting to wait another week or so the wait times are too long as it is adding more time to it just makes us want to call up even more and they wonder why we get stressed with it all. As soon as they pick up I’m asking for an update and I’ll inform you all x

Muva25 · 07/11/2023 11:45

@PinkMoscatoLover oh right ok thanks

@Jude82 ahhh god what an ordeal im just goin to keep hounding them because I’ve been unable to work due to caring for my child so what was I supposed to do pain in the arse

Tmxx · 07/11/2023 11:51

@Billie1993 thanks for the nes thread! I don't know how to make one so always glad when someone does 🤣 hopefully your not on hold too long!

Anyone have rough waiting times for today for ringing xx

Billie1993 · 07/11/2023 11:54

You’re welcome @Tmxx I didn’t either I googled it 😂. I am hoping I’m not waiting long but making myself comfortable for the duration of the long wait ahead so far it’s been half hour on hold so probably looking at another hour maybe

Tmxx · 07/11/2023 11:57

@Billie1993 fingers crossed for just over half hour left rather than an hour 🤞🤣 xx

BoyMumGirlMum2022 · 07/11/2023 11:59

@PinkMoscatoLover thank you. Hopefully not. My next pay date is next Thursday. So I get my statement on Friday this week. So I'm keeping fingers and toes crossed that they'll sort it all together. I've just read the dreaded back stories of others waiting months and months for payment.

@Daryl54 you really do have to hound them unfortunately. I was leaving 2 messages a week and it took 3 weeks to get a reply.
Leave all nessages under payment. As if you're not in the 'looking for work' category then you won't have a work coach anymore.

Billie1993 · 07/11/2023 12:01

@Tmxx ohh I am hoping for only half hour left to wait for them to pick up 😂 my two little ones are off school today due to a sickness bug so trying to tend to them and stay on hold is rather difficult, but must be done lol

Rebeccanew · 07/11/2023 12:03

Thankyou for new thread @Billie1993 xxxx

PinkMoscatoLover · 07/11/2023 12:10

@BoyMumGirlMum2022 haha oh no try not to read up on the horror stories. There’s much more success stories but people don’t harp on about them as that’s how things are meant to go! You’ve got the first letter so the ball is rolling. Try not to stress x
