@Muva306 what's the point in filling in a form if they aren't going to look at it we spend alot of time and anxiety completing it.I feel for you on the poo situation 😕 must be tiring. My little one used to do that but hasn't done for a while now she gone the opposite and hates/wont touch anything to her that looks disgusting 😂 she get extremely upset if she just a bit dirty from spilling ice cream. I think the form would've got there today. Let me know what they say about yours xx

They’ve just cut me off so I’m back at the start 🤦‍♀️when did they tell you that x

Friday I rang them when I got to 26 weeks as they told me 4 weeks before that 26 weeks and then at 26 weeks they change their minds again absolute nightmare x

Mummyof31987 · 28/09/2023 09:46

When I last rang they said I should have a decision at the end of this month I think they just tell you what they feel like saying on that day 😂

Yeah it’s absolutely ridiculous every single person I’ve spoken to changes their mind on dates times etc I’m giving them untill next Friday then when I hit 28 weeks and if still nothing I think I might make a complaint x

managed to get through! Scan date 31/05 it’s still in holding, it’s actually like waiting to be hung 😅 he did say managers pick so many from holding each Monday and pass them to DM to complete that week and they are also working overtime which is helpful to know. He obviously can’t guarantee but said he’s hopeful mine will be sent to DM next week!

Your exactly the same scan date as me for my new claim the wait is beyond bearable now hopefully next week it gets passed over like the gentleman said to you hopefully not too much longer x

Got through and line went dead try again another day 🤦‍♀️

perimenopauseflushes · 28/09/2023 11:04

I called yesterday, waited for an hour and 20mins but got through to a lovely man, my scan date was 8th June, he said roughly17 and half weeks and then passed to DM where it could be another 10 days so looking at mid-end October.
My DDs situation has got worse since I applied so he put an update on for the DM

Muva306 · 28/09/2023 11:10

@Mummy335 took 1 for the team 😂 was on hold for AGES but they confirmed they had received it. Was scanned the same day it arrived for 22nd Sept. She said it’s taking 3-6 weeks
for MRs

Jaymum12 · 28/09/2023 11:51

Has anyone else been waiting 18 weeks? My scan date is 25/5, I don’t know whether to call or wait.

Billie1993 · 28/09/2023 11:57

Hello all long time reader but first time poster.

I called to make a new child DLA claim on 9/6/2023 received the application pack sent off with a few letters from the clinic my 7 year old girl is with (ARFID clinic) and the acceptance letter from CHAMS. My scan date is 12/07/2023 so 11 weeks and 1 day wait so far. My little one has suspected ASD/ADHD/SPD, she has been on sleep medication for the last few weeks didn’t take to the tablet version so has been moved to liquid melatonin since last Friday, I’m debating if I should call them and update them that she’s on the medication for the severe sleep delay or would that delay them making a decision. I have more letters from the ARFID clinic with there reports but nervous in sending them again just in case it delays them even more.

any advice possible please x

We are at 18 weeks today - scan date 25/5. Just got off the phone with a rather unhelpful lady who couldn't seem to tell me whether our claim was with a decision maker or not, and just kept repeating that it's a 20 week wait now.

Givemeallthetattoos · 28/09/2023 13:24

@Muva306 I'm on the phone at the minute making sure my evidence has been scanned on before they start the MR lol
