Thank you, hopefully so, everything has just been such a battle that I don’t have much hope. I’ve popped his surgeons letter and MRI results and a supporting letter from school etc so hopefully I’ve given them enough 🤞

There is a few of us from scan dates around the 13th. They are mostly working on the week prior. Hopefully we hear something next week . Try not to worry x

Haha yep it’s a lot. Luckily my son has OT and physio at home so that helps out a lot.

My scan date for my daughter who has Autism is the 11th of August. I have a long way to go yet!

Wow that sounds like it helps out a lot having some at home! Oh exactly 1 month after me so I'm thinking mine with going by the 17weeks will ve mid November so hopefully mid December for you! 🤞

I know, letter said 15wks but see most are on 17 now , hopefully claim is successful, as seen some have been declined .

Back pay is usually 3 days after so prob from tomorrow you should see it. What was your scan date please? I feel we are going to be declined all those my child’s needs have changed so much since when I sent the forms off.

I'm 16+2 today. Hopefully hear this week or next 🤞🏻 It's definitely more stressful when it gets closer to knowing an outcome. Good luck to everyone this week.

I'm not going to until the 16th if I haven't heard by then only because my daughter has a mental health assessment that morning so can update them with that.
The wait is killing me though it's awful isn't it 🙁

Scan date was 2/06.
I rant for forms 9th may.
I rang them on Monday 2nd of October and wasn't with a decision maker and than I rang Wednesday 4th and my son was awarded that day.
So 17 weeks 5 days. Fingers crossed for you all!! 🙏 xx

I’m going to try and call tomorrow as I sent off some evidence that I really want them to have before it goes to a DM but Royal Mail tracking was playing up so I will attempt to call to see if it’s been scanned on, I’m not looking forward to the wait of trying to get through.

are you claiming for mental health?

I will do, my son has OCD, severe social anxiety, sleep disorder, mental health, ARFID eating disorder and suspected autism(waiting on assessment).

My daughter is the same minus the ocd and arfrid. We're also waiting autism assessment she's 14 (will have left school time she gets one 🙄) Can't believe how long it takes now. Our youngest got diagnosed with autism in 2017 when she was 3 and only took about 6 months from seeing doctor to be diagnosed.

My boy is nearly 13, he’s home educated now as the transition to secondary was massive and that’s when a lot more things came into play. I really feel we will be declined. I think the waiting list here is over a year for an assessment. He is currently on meds and therapy but if I’m honest it’s more challenging now than any improvement.

It's around a 4 year wait where we are for an assessment absolute joke. Fingers crossed for you,when is your scan date?
