Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Mummyrach13 · 09/10/2023 09:21

I’m waiting on hold now, not sure how long it will take today, I have a couple weeks yet but need to see if they received some evidence I recently sent in.

Charlotte19xxx · 09/10/2023 09:27

Mine is stamped 16/09 and I’ve called first time and it’s with DM now, so who knows how long that will take.
Fingers crossed for us all

Mummyrach13 · 09/10/2023 09:32

Wasn’t too bad of a wait, 25 mins. They got what I sent so that’s good, she said it’s 18 1/2 weeks now before any even go to a desicison maker but we know that varies due to other peoples awards and dates etc.
Hoping lots of you get good news this week.

Georgia174 · 09/10/2023 09:33

Anyone not had a letter for a birth certificate?
my scan date is june 13th just called and was told they need his birth certificate 😫
now im worried this will delay us
im going to send next day 1pm delivery
she also quite rude about it and said claims are taking 18 weeks I shouldnt have called
(im 17 weeks tomorrow) luckily I have or I wouldnt have send his birth certificate 😫

Jneill2021 · 09/10/2023 09:36

I would ring and check they are going to send it back as I've always sent copys because as far as Ino they don't send paperwork back xx

Pumpkins3 · 09/10/2023 09:39

Billie1993 · 08/10/2023 21:04

@Pumpkins3 hey :),

ohh it most definitely is to find a scan date buddy I’ve seen a few that are around the same date as us also, yes I also received a text message on the 19th September also, I’ve received two letters the first one to let me know they have received the forms and with the scan date, then the second one around 4 weeks later stating they’re still looking at the claim. The text message was the first one I have revived so far. Hopefully these past 4/5 weeks go quickly for us and all that’s close to our scan date :). X

We have had exactly the same as you with the two letters and one text. Glad it seems we’re on the right track and fingers crossed the weeks go quickly for us.

It’s on my mind so much lately and I keep swaying from being a bit positive and hoping it works out to sort of dreading it, thinking we’ll be rejected, etc. Such a rollercoaster on top of the usual everyday stuff as well. X

Georgia174 · 09/10/2023 09:40

She told me they need the original?

Charlotte19xxx · 09/10/2023 09:40

i had a letter when they asked for my daughters and mine was 16th

PinkMoscatoLover · 09/10/2023 09:40

You’re not allowed to send a copy of the birth certificate as on the letter they ask for the original copy. I sent my daughters birth certificate on a Friday (recorded delivery) and I had it back in the post by Tuesday.

@Georgia174 did you receive a letter requesting the birth certificate? They send the letter with a brown envelope inside and ask for the birth certificate to be sent to them in that. I think it’s so they can spot the birth certificate in piles and piles of additional evidence so it’s seen too quicker. It shouldn’t delay your claim at all

Mummyrach13 · 09/10/2023 09:41

Georgia174 · 09/10/2023 09:40

She told me they need the original?

I read that they do send the birth certificate back but don’t send other documents.

creeve09011990 · 09/10/2023 09:41

i was on hold and got cut off after 30 mins so back of the que for me! @Georgia174 the lady I spoke to on friday was rude to me as well, wonder if it was the same lady. im 18 weeks now and she told me that they dont give updates but will check anyway for me like she was doing me a favour. If they had stuck to 15 week wait like in my original letter than i wouldnt be ringing for updates but never mind!

Charlotte19xxx · 09/10/2023 09:42

I spoke to someone and they said the photo copy was fine, I sent photo copy and they accepted it

Aslostasalice · 09/10/2023 09:44

So I crumbled and called this morning as genuinely thought it had been declined, scan date 6th June and lady said a decision has been made HRC and LRM money should be in by Thursday, burst into tears when they told me I’m actually so relieved, good luck to everyone waiting, I have watched this tread for so long for updates so thought I’d post as I have seen a few people with the same scan date x

Charlotte19xxx · 09/10/2023 09:47

Amazing news glad the wait is over.
did they not text you or let you know anything no?

Georgia174 · 09/10/2023 09:49

I never received it. Not sure if it was posted in the wrong letter box. (We live in a flat
so theres loads next to each other) will they be able to make a decision without it or will they put my claim on hold until it’s received?
im going to send it this evening with next day 1pm delivery. Will that be okay?

Charlotte19xxx · 09/10/2023 09:52

They won’t do anything without it. That’s what I was advised anyway

Charlotte19xxx · 09/10/2023 09:53

I also didn’t send it in th broke envelope they provided I paid for my own tracking delivery next day special delivery cost me like 6£ but I wanted to make sure I had no other mess ups

@Aslostasalice amazing news! you must be so happy :) xx

Charlotte19xxx · 09/10/2023 09:58

I still will never understand how a tick box can decide what we all go through each day. If we haven’t put enough info on or what not, doesn’t mean we ain’t telling truth. It’s crazy can’t wait did it all to end

MCcrazymummyx · 09/10/2023 10:02

Got through this morning at 9.15. Scan date 07/06 for my 3.5 year old lovely chap said it wasn't them who called over the weekend but claim is with dicision maker and looking at time frame I should have a decision in 2-3days so fingers crossed for good news. I asked him to make a note also that she is in assessment for EHCP and dicision for that is 30th Oct and gsp funding for 1to1 currently also as when I claimed I had IEPS and awaiting gsp funding.

Aslostasalice · 09/10/2023 10:03

Thankyou, think I’m still in shock if I’m honest x

Hannahlou94xx · 09/10/2023 10:13

Does everyone get asked to send in a birthday certificate (I can't remember if I sent a Copy of my sons off with his claim)

Sskanf · 09/10/2023 10:16

Fingers crossed u get good news. What was yiur scan date?

Sskanf · 09/10/2023 10:22

I've not been asked for a birth certificate yet. Around what week do they ask you?
