I was 17 weeks yesterday, they said weekend or beginning of next week. So about 17.5 weeks hopefully.

How stressful is the wait?! I found myself becoming weirdly obsessed about it the later it was going on 😬
Just in the process of writing an MR, so the anxiety is back on 😖

Just got off the phone - I tried at exactly 9am and only took 6mins to get through to a lovely man! But he says decision was made yesterday at bang on 19 weeks to decline 😔 I was expecting it as my son 'only' has dyspraxia and when it's on paper it doesn't seem like he needs much help but the reality is very different. I think I'm out, the stress of waiting this long was giving me anxiety and I became obsessive, checking my bank account and text messages constantly. I can't take the further stress of MR.

@Luevzamum my sons CoC was done last week, it took 27 weeks and 1 day from scan date.
I called on the 9th of March for the forms and it was scanned on the 21st of March.
They backdated to the 21st of March even though it says on the letter the award is from the 9th 🤷🏼‍♀️

Agree, 50 odd percentage have it reversed after MR...

I was very worried doing MR as was awarded but only care which for a 14 year old is alot. in the form I also mentioned how anxiety affects dd and how she gets 2 taken to get her in the car and then just runs across the road, refusing to go outside when it's a better day she will have a random panic attack she could seem fine and then suddenly turn they didn't even award low mobility I was a bit shocked as she needs someone with her also won't go out on her own. On a very rare occasion she may do but hasn't done that since January this year even when it wasn't as bad she was bad if that makes sense. I am worried they might turn it down completely now 🫤 does make me wonder whether they even read all of the form. Sent it off a week ago so probably a little wait.Good luck to those who are going through MR and those on such a long wait for an answer. 🙏 its an awful wait x

Because we live in Devon we get the train as its much quicker for us but i will bear it in mind if we do ever drive up.

My maternity pay ends next month and then I'm hoping that the DLA will be in place and I will be entitled to some UC which will then enable me to get help with travel. Its so hard keeping track of all of the appointments and which hospital they are at!!!

I'm coming up to week 16 I think 2 x texts and 2 letters so far .
I can't ring them , as im at work .

I sent a CAHMS report with the diagnosis of autism and a letter confirming epilepsy.

Not sure if Iv sent enough. Anyone with a similar diagnosis. My scan date 20 June .

It's making very anxious . Waiting to find out either way.

I am coc and I’m 25 weeks in waiting from Tuesday, called and could be any day from now till end of month. This waiting is driving me mad . Now I’m like hope he gets it

Currently with a decision maker but told that it could be in a pile and might not be looked at for 1-2 weeks 😶we shall see.

Wanted to up date you. My scan date was 2nd June. My sons DLA was awarded on Wednesday after going to DM Monday.

Morning is definitely best time to call - got through in 12 mins today when I was on hold and never got through yesterday for 2 hrs 🤦‍♀️.

Just wanted to give any June scan dates some hope that it is happening soon for you. Xxx

I called today scan date 13/06. Not with DM yet but the lady state it will be done on the 17 1/2 week mark. Definitely convinced myself I am getting declined 😂 hopefully on Monday I will have some hope again. 😂

Finally gave in and called this morning, with a DM so fingers crossed we will hear something soon.

Hi all - Just an update. My scan date is 5/6 - called weds and was told with decision maker. called for an update today. lady told me that 'they dont do updates' but she will look anyway like i was asking a lot. But told me no decision as yet but did make a point in asking me not to keep calling and i should hear by next friday. x

Well I've recieved a letter today dated 2nd October. With the legal requirements of me as his named person for his claim. I didn't get a cjce to phone today, but will phone Monday if I don't receive a letter tomorrow. As this letter only took 4 days to arrive.

I only sent 2 letters diagnosis of autism and epilepsy. Support letter drom seco imbreally nervous that I haven't sent enough either.
