I'm still waiting from 25/5 and haven't heard anything since 21st August either, I think someone further up the thread said that some DMs are faster than others at getting through their pile of claims 🤣

Hopefully the DM is just behind then. All this waiting and no communication is so stressful when seeing people with later scan dates getting awarded

I sent a very detail application with 3 extra pages of how much help and care she needs and how it is effecting her and everyone else around her, but I assumed they would ring cahms, ring the Councillor and ring the school 😬.

No idea hopefully you get confirmation letter soon. Let me know what it ended up being.

I am checking my bank every morning in the hope as most people seem to get the payment before the letter unless they get a text.

I got 2 letters and 2 texts so hopefully they text me when I get awarded

Still no decision or with dm yet, only sent in the mobility bit . As he gets mild rate for care . Received 18/4 and will be 24 was 1 day today .

My Son was awarded this afternoon, soooo happy that the wait is finally over. No clue on how much as yet as only just had the text to confirm. Scan date 02/06. Good luck to everyone waiting x

I've just spoken to a friend and she has come up with the same amounts as you.
She also said she recieved payment about a week before the letter arrived. So definitely worth checking.
I'm with HSBC and they tell you when money is coming in. Not sure if any other banks do that. But it's definitely a feature that has paid off. I really really hope you hear soon. I was ready to phone on Friday for an update.

@MummyBrx also, I recieved my last text on 30th August. That was after a previous text on 7th August and 2 letters.
As soon as I recieve the letter. Or if I get impatient and phone, I'll update you on amounts. But I think you're right.

Just thought I'd update you all. My scan date was 2/06. I spent an hour and 45 mins trying to get through today. When the man answered who was lovely. He said a decision has been made! Hrc lrm I could of cried! I didn't reicieve a text. He said letter is in the post today and back pay is on its way should recieve by Tues next week. He explained about renewals to. He was so helpful. My boy can now have the sensory things he needs! Not to mention endless packs of crisps 😂 x

I seen someone else on FB who got a text 30th August and then got award text today.

Which is 5 weeks after last text, wonder if that's a thing 5 weeks ish after second text message.

My last text was 12th Sept so 5 weeks after would take me to 17th October. I'm not ringing as I don't think it speeds things up better to just wait and hope for the best.

hi all! My scan date is 05/06 and I called today around 3 (after nearly 2 hour wait!) and was told it is with decision maker and went up to them this morning so any time now really im guessing? she wouldnt give me a time scale but does anyone know what the range is? thank you!

Previously it was mentioned it could be anywhere to 24hrs to 1 week just depends. Hopefully you’re not waiting too long fingers crossed x

@MummyBrx I wonder if I'll get a text tomorrow. As like I said I didn't get any notification minus my bank.

Are you still awaiting a decision?
For anyone wondering text dates. I had one the 7th Aug and 30th Aug and then awarded today but no text. I rang Monday this week and it wasn't with a decision maker. So within 2 days it's gone to a decision maker and been made.

Ah thank you. Yes, my scan date is 14/6, had two texts on 21/8 and 12/9. Hopefully not much longer, hoping the next week or so! It will make such a difference if we get awarded, my son is non verbal suspected ASD and the waiting time for SLT is 18 months, so really hope we get awarded so I can get him some privately! X

Same text dates as me and I am scan date 16/06

I have seen a few award dates with last text date of 30th Aug which is 5 weeks today.

So hopefully we will hear no later than 17th October hopefully before if we are lucky.

People seem to be getting decisions roughly 17.5 weeks so that would work out.

I'm 15th June and got the same texts. Really anxious now really hope daughter qualifies so I can take her Sen places alot of places don't let you in without award letter

@MummyBrx @Mummytodo when was the last time you called for an update? I called bang on 15 weeks and was told 18 weeks minimum to reach a DM x
