@Keddie No none really apart from
the letter to say they had received my claim and two texts 07:08 and 30/08 saying they were still looking at my claim but if you get to 17 weeks and haven’t heard, give them a call. I rang Monday and it wasn’t even with a decision maker, rang today and claim was awarded yesterday 17+4. Good luck xx

Hi everyone, can I ask did you get a text when it was scanned? Our renewal was in August, forms sent in July, signed for so I know they are there, but in previous year's we've always had a text but nothing this time, and obviously payments have stopped as her old one has expired but new one hasn't been determined yet.

Aw thank you so much. I wasn't 100% sure. As I didn't know if.it would be classed as 17 weeks as I thought I was only 16 weeks on Friday.

I am 16 weeks today, I am off next Tuesday I may try and call but don’t want to be told to leave them alone ha ha x

No still nothing @Mummy335 it is making me think it’s been rejected again but I’m having hope & faith as they said it took taken anything between between 3-6 weeks and it’s only been with them 2 weeks, this Friday xx

Did you ring up for the form if so it will be back dated to stamp date on form if you sent it back on time.

That's the only calculation I can get too anyway hopefully you should get a letter confirming soon.

Did you receive a text or just the payment in the account?

first time posting and applying for dla. Sent forms off on the 19/6 they got them 23/6 rang up this Monday saying should hear by the 27/10 such a long process!! I don’t want to be waiting this long for my son to then be declined 😢

@MummyBrx No I got given the forms by my hv who printed them off for me.

I get notifications on my bank of incoming payments. That's the only reason I knew. Ad I haven't got a letter or a text yet.
Just had his reference number and dla dwp Cr on the payment incoming.

@Muva306 Yeah, i suppose they have a lot of MRs to go through, probably a backlog of those now too.hope you do hear soon and it's positive for you. I'm not calling as i don't wanna know so just going to wait. Also there's no separate line to wait so could be hours just to get hold of them to get told the same as you and also only a week that I sent it too.x

Just unsure how they're working out the rates and stuff. I know I was surprised with the date as I sent them off about 3 weeks before that.

This is a similar situation to my daughter, PTSD trauma, anxiety, self harm panic attacks and counselling. Scan date of 6/6 rang yesterday at 17 weeks and said not with DM yet and should hear back next week.

My granddaughter was abused , went to cahms for a year but won’t talk about it she gets angry and upset , been having flashbacks and nightmares, she was self harming and felt she wanted to commit suicide as said finding it hard to cope with what happened, first time applying, been 15 wks since they got the form , sent in the diagnosis report, was unsure if anyone had been awarded for same .
