Hi all my scan date is 23/06 , I am 15 weeks tomorrow. I called on Tuesday the lady said new claims are now taking 17/18 weeks so more waiting I guess! My son was finally diagnosed with autism last week so I’m hoping he will be awarded although the report will take 5 weeks to arrive , good luck all xxx

Mumof2boys11 · 05/10/2023 07:14

If you know the dates you called for forms etc, I can work out your back pay if needed 🙂 . How exciting for little one. Hope she enjoys all sensory things needed for her xx

Mummytodo · 05/10/2023 07:18

Depends on other factors such as the rent costs, childcare costs, number of children and when they were born

There is an FB page called UC/esa/DLA/pip advice if join there and see if someone can calculate for you

Mumtotwoboys121 · 04/10/2023 22:42

@MummyBrx @Mummytodo when was the last time you called for an update? I called bang on 15 weeks and was told 18 weeks minimum to reach a DM x

I haven't called at all. Going off what other people have said on here don't think it hurry's the process so I've just waited.

Just going off others scan and text dates I'm happy to wait until w/c 16th October if I haven't heard by the end of that week I will phone up.

I work school hours so difficult to phone as people have said best to call bang on 9am which I can't do and then people get cut off after waiting for hours id rather avoid the stress haha

They seem to be on first week of June this week so hopefully not much longer for us

Good morning all, long time lurker here without commenting..

I called this morning and got through at 9:02 shock horror!

Scan date 06/06/23 first application. Spoke to a lovely man who confirmed my son was awarded yesterday. HRC backdated to April £2400 back pay, advised a letter has been sent and award should be in my account within 3-5 days.

I did previously get 2 text messages, last one on 30th August, but nothing yesterday. Good luck to all still waiting xx

Superbook7 · 05/10/2023 09:41

Just an update I rang at 9am this morning and waited about 36 minutes. The lady said mine is not with a d.m yet but should be anytime this week. My forms were scanned on the 8/6 so 17 weeks today for me.

@Givemeallthetattoos haven’t heard a thing which isn’t filling me with hope 🤦🏽‍♀️ keeping everything crossed tho 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

kellymummy23 · 05/10/2023 10:37

Hi all first time posting. My scan date is 16/6 (first claim) Have had 2 messages 21st August & 12th September. Hopefully not long now for us all, it's starting to drive me a little crazy 🥴 Already claim for my youngest since 2017 & don't ever remember it being as stressful or as long to wait as this time for my other daughter 🙁

Luevzamum · 05/10/2023 10:46

@Jneill2021 this is exactly what I’m waiting for my scan date was 9/6 and it was a coc I did. Not had any texts at all, just 2 letters one saying 11 weeks and one saying 15 weeks but I’m over the 15 week mark now but haven’t even bothered to ring as i can see from previous messages that coc are taking a lot longer than new claims, I’ll keep you posted when I hear anything x

Givemeallthetattoos · 05/10/2023 10:53

@Muva306 oh no! When was it accepted? Without sounding weird I've been thinking of you all week hoping you get awarded 🤞🤞🤞

Cocopops22 · 05/10/2023 11:02

@Jneill2021
I’m hoping I can get HRH for my ASD son he’s 4 years old but it’s so difficult for him to walk when he’s distressed etc , from my research I found out autism is a brain condition therefore under 5s may qualify for HRM .depending on needs obviously. I am week 15 hopefully I hear back in a few weeks if we don’t get HRM I will defo appeal xxx

Caitlyn59 · 05/10/2023 11:10

Hi

Babaganoo · 05/10/2023 11:13

Hi just marking my place 😊 just sent off our form for DS. What's the current wait looking like? 18 weeks?

Jneill2021 · 05/10/2023 11:23

I havnt had any letters or text u had to ring to make sure they recieved everything I rang them a couple days ago told me 27 weeks but he said times are coming down abit, but should imagine still will take 27 weeksxx

Jneill2021 · 05/10/2023 11:26

I applied for mobility when I 1st done the claim but got refused he was only about 3 and half, just hoping he gets it now as getting out and about it's so hard so distressing for him. He don't walk any where the refusals to walk amd sensory overload are to bad waiting to hear about a special buggy /wheelchair xx think I've been waiting 21 weeks now just hope they hurry up xx
