First time poster, I've just called to change my bank details. We are at 17 weeks today, scan date of 06/06 asked about the current time frame and was told 18 weeks and will be with decision maker next week. Worried I haven't sent enough evidence as I just thought they would ring school/camhs and the councillors she sees 🤦‍♀️😬 although sent a very detailed application with 3 added pages. I'm not holding out for any good news at this point.

I only got one letter off them to tell me the scan date.
I’ve just heard back from a change of circumstances, only took 28 weeks…
My son went from MRC to HRC and LRM 🙏

Called today scan date 02/06, my son has been awarded MRC and LRM. I’m so so happy this is gonna help my boy out so much :) x

for those who requested a backdate from UC - how long did this take to receive ? X

UC backdating can take anything from a week to around 8 weeks x

That’s good news they hVe updated my journal today 2 children with coc one has gone to the high rate element and one with the lower element in uc and said my change of circumstances have been verified and they requested a backdate I’ve to now wait for a decision maker to make a decision apparently would be nice if it fell before Christmas x

I'm at 18+5 (25 May) and I don't understand why it's taking so long? It's really disheartening to now see people with scan dates in June being accepted.

I called last Thursday but the lady I spoke to could only tell me I was still in the queue and it can take up to 20 weeks now....

It might be worth chasing them up and see if a decision has been made.

I'd call them again, some people on the phones are giving ridiculous time scales. From what I was told it should be between 17 and 18 weeks.

hi all! on hold to get through now - scan date 5/6 - will keep you updated. when I called last week was told id have decision by end of the week. i know its not end of week but im impatient and want to know where its at haha x
