15 weeks today. Scanned 19/06. Rang today and not even with a DM yet, said around another 2.5 weeks apparently! My son is an amputee so really hoping we can get it but after seeing people get declined I'm worried.

Oh my gosh….was awarded this morning! Middle Care, Lower Mobility! Wait for letter! Oh, I am sooo pleased I can finally put in extra support for him. Thank you and everyone else in here keeping me sane while the past 3 weeks have been hell! For all…my story lol….
Sent forms in with a Paediatrician letter stating Autism traits and a Speech and Language Report just indicating his speech needs, no mention of Autism. And that was all for evidence. I filled the form in myself with the school input of just his speech needs-of course-no other help but this was expected. (School are not helpful) Had a letter dated 17th of June to say my scan date was 01st June. No others letters or phone calls or texts. I did ring after 15 weeks to check they had my form-they did. I called 16+6 weeks to be told not with DM. I called again 17+1 (Friday morning just gone) was with DM. Decision made this morning-17+3. I am unbelievably relieved and glad I don’t have to wait anymore. Be happy to see it in writing but hey, that’s what the man said. This page has been a god send! Thank you all so much. @Tiredmamma74 ive been convinced he would be rejected that I’m in shock and can’t believe it. Yep…over thinking all the way now until either money is in the bank or letter comes in the post-whichever first 😂😂 Thanks hunny xx

@zoeybrooks45 for some reason they don't give ot or salt till diagnosis although diognosis is pretty quick within 4 months for my 3 nearly 4 year old the wait for salt referal was actually longer than the diognosis appiontment 2yr old isn't in play school yet I don't think she will cope which is why the health visitor has referred them both to portage because when I asked to see my 3 yrs support plan it was a load of printed pages not filled in so I'm not pleased as I despite asking constantly they still haven't confirmed what there doing to support her into a school setting or if she's ready I keep being asked to contact the sen who is never there

Hopefully we do my non verbal daughter is very sensory seeking and avoident at the same time I see how much she benifits from the sensory room but I can only take her once a month and we have limited items here would be so nice if she could get something would be so much easier if dla was at the peaditritions discretion!

Scan date 31/5, still no news for me and I’ve been cut off four times when trying to call today

@Lilypad22 Keep trying, I’ve been cut off 5 times as well today but am now finally in a queue 🤞very frustrating but I was determined today not to give up x

I asked the woman this morning to repeat it 3 times and she did bless her. But even now I am wondering if it was all a dream 😂

@CHDmumma im actually thinking of calling back to double check. He didn’t say anything about payments just wait for the letter. Convincing myself I heard him wrong. And I asked him twice! 😂😂

@Mummyof6love don't worry lovely I'm sure you heard correctly, did he tell you how much is being paid out? And how long your period is for?

I was told that the money should be in my account tomorrow or Wednesday (as they decided Friday afternoon after I called) and she then told me the next payment is the 31st October.

@creeve09011990 maybe the line is busy, I did ring last week they told me middle to end of October, I think they just tell you anything sometimes, hopefully it’s this week 🤞, my scan date is 6th June keep me posted please

I know @BoatsAndHoes I was thinking the same thing I was ok until after the 15 week mark now it's driving me mad ! Lol hopefully we here something soon I asked them would I receive a text and he told me no it would be a letter and that I should get the decision by the end of next week so here's hoping we both get a decision soon x best of 🤞

@CHDmumma nope, nothing! Just he was awarded this morning, MRC,LRM wait for letter. He wanted me off the phone and I kinda panicked 😂😂I’m gonna call back 😂😂🙈🙈

I’m really worried about it. I literally had no evidence other than a statement from school which wasn’t much. Just said she had been placed on sen register and about sensory issues.
a note saying referral in process. A 7 day sleep diary and extra information I put on the form.

Hi all, just an update, our claim is due to go to DM this week and I’ve been advised to ring back end of next week as they should have made a decision by then. So nearly there 😬 scan date 02/06

Your the same as me 4 weeks from back payment I was told same about money no later than Thursday was Kinda hoping my two boys got paid at the same time easier to move into savings account x
