DLA wait times Part 13

I haven't had a text, but I was told it'll probably be 6-7 days from date of decision to receiving back pay.

Hi all, good to read some May dates have been awarded now. Scan date 10/5, I had planned to call tomorrow but will hold it out until next week. Its so nerve racking the last few weeks/days.

My scan date is 10/05 too. I haven’t got the opportunity to phone until Friday - but I’m hoping I’ll get a text before then!

Scan date 5/5 and I got payment today. Haven’t received a text.
over 17weeks but the worry is finally over… for now

Same scan date, was awarded on Monday, hoping back pay would be in today but good to know it shouldn't be long!

I'm still waiting for the 5/5 not feeling hopeful at all now seeing others after that date being awarded.

Hi can anyone work out what I've been awarded I got £1615 in my account and my scan date was 9th may. Thanks in advance.

I have just spoken to them to add a coc and today the women was lovely, but she did overestimate she said 18weeks to get to DM. I just hope all this waiting and worrying is worth it.

Congrats to all those that have received good news.. it seems they are covering beginning of May till 15th. Another 4 weeks at least for my scan date 13/06

Been on the phone for ages, anyone know when it is the best time to call them?

There isn't a good time, I've been on the phone for a hour already. Tried at 9am but kept getting a busy tone.
Same time frame whenever you call.

I'd call them, I've still had no proof of it being accepted, no text so it's possible it's been done!!

This morning I managed to get an answer after 30 mins, I called as soon as it turned 9am. Usually when I call after it’s 55/60 mins wait.

Has anyone been able to get in touch by the dla helpline today I've tryed ringing 6 times and just getting cut off

Finally got a answer. My son was awarded middle rate care. :)

Not sure if I should go for high rate as he needs blood sugar checks through the night, insulin corrections & treating for hypos. Anyone else gone for HRC for type one please?

I sent in extra evidence first class next day and signed for on Monday rang through this morning and it's allready been scanned in. My scan date was 17/5 and they say I've still a few week to wait yer.

I would defiantly try as that is significant night care and unavoidable

I'll give it a whirl. Only problem is I only have his blood sugar/insluin logs through the night as evidence would that be enough? 🤔

Winds me up as it's like they're saying diabetes magically goes away through the night 😂

I’m trying to add my son DLA claim to my tax credits claim but they’re saying we can’t get the disability element as I don’t work?

However I get the disability element for my eldest child and I’ve not worked (can’t work as I’m a carer for my eldest child!)

Has anyone else heard of this?!

Do they think you re asking for the working tax credit disability element, not the child tax credit disability element because that would make sense why they said that if they ve got the two different things confused.

I said to her she was getting confused by working tax credits & child tax credits and she was adamant she was correct even though it made no sense my eldest gets it!

I'm on hold to them again and hopefully get through to someone who knows what they're on about. 🙈😂 spent all day on the phone. 😮‍💨

Hi all been reading along for a while. Anyone with a scan date of the 30th? I've had a letter saying 15 weeks and got a text yesterday saying they are still looking at it! I guess at this point it's not with a dm yet?
