DLA wait times Part 13

I see thread 12 is full. Is there a Part 13 already, or shall we make this it?

Same scan date as me. Hopefully the wait is worth it but it’s look like early October. Is your child school age? It’s not to late to send off extra evidence.

Our scan date is 18/5, I ve got more evidence I can send but I figured as it's taking them more than 2/3 weeks to scan anything I m just going to hold off and then use it for an MR if it came to it.
But then I m hoping for MRC and not eligible for mobility yet so the extra I can send is just more recent to say the same things other evidence does.

Tried to ring and keep getting cut off. Have to try again tomorrow

What do I do?
My daughters scan date was 16/05/2023 so not long left. she has Just got her asd and dispraxia diagnosis letter this morning. Is it to late to send it in as extra evidence.
ARGHHHH I had stopped stressing about it thinking there was nothing else to send. Now this what should I do?

Also, how do you find out when your scan date was? Is it 15 week wait from the scan day?

Your first letter from them should have the date on it, it's going past the 15 weeks now. Lots of people seem to be 17 weeks for an answer.

Scan date mid July, renewal due mid Oct, desperately hoping HRC is approved as I am getting to the point I can no longer get him in the car seat. We need a WAV so he can travel in his wheelchair.

You can call them to report of change circumstances and tell them that you received diagnosis, it’s worth a try.

we had that issue. once they have a certain number in the queue it seems to cut off so just a case of persisting

Was 17 weeks last Friday so gona Leave it until end of week to see if I hear anything if not I will ring again

No she's 3 and only just started nursery when I rang 3 weeks ago they said middle of September but yes looming like October

Does anyone know if anyone looks at the evidence/application during this long wait or is it all done the day the decision maker gets it?

Hiya everyone, I have a scan date of the 11th of May I called today and still nothing. He said its taking around 18 weeks and 2 weeks for a decision but they seem to be telling everyone different! Hopeful to hear something the end of next week!

My scan date is 18/5. Not heard yet. I’m going to wait till a decision is made to send in extra evidence.

anyone from beginning of may heard anything? Scan date 9th May, 17 weeks today but nothing as yet.

you're probably pretty close to a decision. exactly 17 weeks seems.to be decision time

D ay 5 of being with the decision maker and still no answer. Worried they're going to decline my son.
