New thread for DLA wait times part 12 please inform information others may feel helpful in their wait wait times are currently looking at being
15-17 weeks for DLA new claims.

Do I need to inform DLA that we have applied for ECHP for my son

My friend was awarded yesterday and she was the 9th May. I also saw on the fb page someone being awarded from the 19th I think it was.

I don’t think you do if you have just applied for the EHCP. I think if it’s granted most people save it for a renewal/more evidence if declined DLA x

Been following this thread! My scan date is 15/05 I've broke down and on the phone with them now, as it was 15 weeks this week 🤷🏻‍♀️ I'm just so anxious

Ah that's no good! Honestly it's so frustrating, if I get through I will update but seeing as your scan date is before mine you should be further along in the process if anything 😃

Is the first payment paid on a specific day or any day? I’m the 9th May that gives me some hope it won’t be too long 🤞🏻

Did she contact them to find out? I’m the 9th May also. It’s funny how the dates are working out. I’m not expecting anything until next week

24th but I worked out im at 15 weeks one day it’s just so horrible waiting x
