Hello everyone. I’m 16 weeks today scan date 3rd April rang twice today and still not with dm! Got told twice last week that it would go to dm at 15 and half weeks and now been told could take up to 17 and a half weeks! It’s an absolute joke the amount of times they change the time scale my anxiety is through the roof 😣

Everlong1234 · 24/07/2023 16:06

I am 15 and a half weeks, scan date 5th April and nothing yet. I rang on Friday and was told it would allocated to a case manager most likely on Monday (today) but from there it has to go to a DM. So basically it could still be a week or two. The wait is awful! I'm going to call again in Wednesday when I'm 16 weeks.

Pb12three · 24/07/2023 17:13

Just got through after almost 2hours and been told 17 and a half week wait now. This is the first time i’ve called. Scan date 11/04. 😥

Kiki2023 · 24/07/2023 18:59

This is ridiculous I rang less than 2 hours before u and was told fifteen and a half. I've actually had enough at this point

MammaLBlue · 24/07/2023 19:12

I think they’re just telling everyone different things! I’m just going to ring every day till I have an answer 🙄

tiredmum1989 · 24/07/2023 20:29

Omg I can’t be doing with all this 😣it’s getting ridiculous. I haven’t rung yet but seems pointless as I won’t believe what they tell me the wait is anyway!

Our scan date is 30/3 so was really hoping to hear this week.

J8231 · 25/07/2023 12:55

Does anyone know if you get universal credit and you have 2 children on DLA do you get 2 lots of the disabled child element or just one? Many thanks

Shellbel10 · 25/07/2023 17:11

I had a text at 10 weeks and today at 13 weeks saying still looking at claim has anyone else had these and been awarded I’m nervous now it’s getting closer

Mummyto3boys23 · 25/07/2023 19:13

I had the same. Week 14 now. Was told 16 weeks so who knows 😬

Shellbel10 · 25/07/2023 19:28

Ahh I’ll look out for your decision times then

1990shopefulftm · 25/07/2023 20:54

Scan date is may 18th so we re only on week 9, had a text and a letter saying they are still looking into it. I have a feeling they just send them out to try to avoid us phoning them rather than anything else.

Kiki2023 · 25/07/2023 22:38

Me too i got txt

Shellbel10 · 26/07/2023 09:00

Has anyone on here been awarded without diagnosis recently. We are on asd pathway but all takes so long

Missycoco1 · 26/07/2023 09:12

My eldest has no diagnosis and was awarded 10 years. I had 100s of photo copied evidence from numerous professionals, school etc and she does have an EHCP. It does go on care needs not diagnosis so hope that gives you some hope. My youngest one has no diagnosis and I'm waiting to hear on hers. I don't have any formal diagnosis as of yet and not much evidence other than a consultant letter, EHA paperwork, notes from transition meetings between pre school and school (school don't see what I see at home) and a private OT report. So I'm hoping they take all of that into consideration when deciding. Sods law we finally saw NHS SALT and they agree with me about my concerns but the report won't come in time but will be useful if I need to appeal.

1990shopefulftm · 26/07/2023 09:40

We re waiting for a first paeds appointment to get on the ASD pathway, I sent in his EHA, portage acceptance letter and a private SLT report confirming a language delay. He started nursery recently after I sent the form in may so I may have something from them if I need to appeal, just hoping it's going to be enough. We ve been on the NHS SLT waiting list for 40 weeks and been told this morning it's gone up to more like 60 weeks, so just really hoping on DLA to get him private SLT sessions and maybe an OT opinion as we just can't afford it at the moment.

MammaLBlue · 26/07/2023 10:47

Anyone heard anything yet?

MammaLBlue · 26/07/2023 11:04

finally my claim is with a dm! Went there yesterday! I feel sick waiting on a decision

Missycoco1 · 26/07/2023 12:06

I rung today and still no decision. Its been with DM a week. My scan date 29/3.

MammaLBlue · 26/07/2023 12:19

@Missycoco1 a week! That’s ridiculous!

Missycoco1 · 26/07/2023 13:59

I rang again and my daughter was awarded HRC no mobility as she's only 4yrs. Awarded till 2025 🙂 Decision made at 12pm scan date 29/3

MammaLBlue · 26/07/2023 14:05

@Missycoco1 omg congratulations I bet you feel so relieved 😂 so happy for you

Lovemyones · 26/07/2023 14:37

J8231 · 25/07/2023 12:55

Does anyone know if you get universal credit and you have 2 children on DLA do you get 2 lots of the disabled child element or just one? Many thanks

Yes 2 lots! And Aldo 2 lots of carers if you have a partner and both are eligible!

J8231 · 26/07/2023 15:02

Thought so, universal credit are trying to say they already paid it but that was for my son not my daughter. I don't even know what else you can get it's so confusing thank you for your reply

MammaLBlue · 26/07/2023 15:11

I have just been awarded MRC till 2025 I am so relieved it’s all over 😭😭😭

Shellbel10 · 26/07/2023 15:31

Ahh amazing news those that have been awarded today
