Called up today and the wait gets pushed back further and further has anyone been awarded recently

I got threw within 9 minutes. Had some rude woman answer and have me go threw every security question they must have available to ask 🤯🤯 just to be told it’s not with a DM yet 🤷🏼‍♀️ never mine the waiting continues what’s another potential 2 weeks wait

Is anyone with a scan date of 20/01 or around that still waiting? IV seen alot with a decision already made around my date, hoping this isn't a bad sign!!

Hi new here, my scan date was 24/1 and keep being told different wait times it will be 13 weeks tomorrow. My daughter has suspected asd and she had an overactive bladder and constantly wets herself day and night, she is up pretty much every hour as she does not sleep properly, really worried I will be declined as last week I sent more evidence as she was put on medication but worried they will make a decision before even receiving it. I have just got of the phone and they have not recieved it yet 😩

My scan date is 19/1.
Last time I spoke with them still not with DM.

Oh at least I'm not the only one fingers 🤞 we will hear soon! I thought I was quite a patient person but right now I just want to know!! Thank you for your reply.

For those who have been awarded already do you know what the process is with child tax as I’m sure we will have to inform them.

I have rang this morning scan date 19th Jan, my daughters claim is with the DM but they are just waiting for information from the medical representative, has anybody had this? (My daughter has an extremely rare life threatening condition. )

@MrsB113 Thankyou, I did just speak with someone and she said I have to call back when I receive my letter and the date that’s on the letter, so not sure if she was referring from the date of it being sent out or when I was awarded. And do you know if you get backdated from the date the award started or from the letter?

I'm still awaiting a decision at the moment so am just going off of information I have been given from a friend who has previously been in this situation.
Tax credits should be awarded from the date the dla was awarded so hopefully you will have some backpack due.
If you are in receipt of any other benefits such as housing it would probably be best to let them know too.
I don't think it changes what you'll receive however it is a change to circumstances so best to inform everyone.

It'll be the date the dla is award from so probably your scan date or the original date you signed the dla forms.

11 weeks today SD 6/2
was told last Thursday
"currently they are predicting 13weeks before claims are looked at and we've had yours 10 weeks"
so I can only assume at this point DDs is still in the que waiting to be seen
Fingers crossed it gets picked up near the end of week 12 and a decision made mid 13th week if we've heard nothing by 15th May I will call as be week 14 at that point

Thankyou so much for that! I will contact housing aswell. So hard haven’t to figure out what to do once you’ve been awarded. Just grey areas everywhere 🤣 I pray it helps with housing in regards to us getting a move as my daughter really needs her own room

I have had a missed call from a mobile telephone number which I havnt as of yet rang back I’m wondering if the DMs call from a mobile number or isit an 0800 number?

They are usually good with leaving a voice message mine even left me her number to call her back and told me what time she was working to

I've got 2 payments due in my bank. (One for each child I presume) don't know my award yet as no one is answering. Can't seem to do the maths to work it out either 😒

I phoned today scan date was 18/1 and got told was with a dm. Anybody idea on how long normally takes once with dm.

it really depends on decision maker/amount of evidence etc but mine was with decision maker tuesday, awarded wednesday x

@megan345 I think I've worked it out at LRM & MRC as I forgot it goes back to the date I requested the forms not the scan date 🤦🏼‍♀️ I mens I think that's what it is 😂 it's the closest I can do
