ERG123 · 20/04/2023 21:44

Thank you just need to inform UC when I get the rates

megan345 · 20/04/2023 21:45

@ERG123 are you on the facebook group? they're pretty good at figuring rates out

ERG123 · 20/04/2023 21:51

No I don’t have fb. I’ll ring tomorrow and see what they say. Hopefully UC will be also kind and backdate, I did tell them I was applying

MrsB113 · 21/04/2023 07:07

Congratulations, you must have been awarded near the start of the week to have received backpay. Hope you manage to get through to someone today

Leigh3 · 21/04/2023 09:08

I’ve just phoned this morning, mine is with the dm and I missed a call yesterday from them apparently regarding night time needs so I should expect a call about it today scan date 21/01

MrsB113 · 21/04/2023 09:26

For anyone with a scan date similar to mine 27/01. I spoke to the loveliest man this morning that advised the dms started working on claims from 18/01 on Monday and should pick up our claim over the weekend or the start of next week.
He advised to call again on Tuesday.

Jay53 · 21/04/2023 09:29

That's good to know. My scan date is 19/1 so fingers crossed I hear soon.

Leigh3 · 21/04/2023 09:32

Also for those who knew when there decisions were made how long did it take for the back payments?

I'm sure I've read it's 3-4 days

Claire288 · 21/04/2023 10:12

@MrsB113 my scan date is the same as yours. I rang this morning also. The lady I spoke to said it should be looked at in the next few days, but couldnt tell me if it was with a desicion maker as she didn't know how far in the pile I'd be.

Leigh3 · 21/04/2023 10:16

Wow! Just had a lovely call with the DM My daughter has been awarded im not sure of what rate I can find out after 1.30 today when it’s been uploaded on the system.

MrsB113 · 21/04/2023 10:19

The man I spoke with said mine wasn't with a decision maker yet but would be in the next few days. He couldn't tell me if it would be on the overtime pile for the weekend or next week though.
He confirmed my contact number and I would get a text if the DM has text facilities and that I had submitted a good amount of evidence.

Not really sure what to make of that though.
Hopefully we'll know by this time next week

Autismum4 · 21/04/2023 10:40

That's great @Leigh3 what did they discuss regarding night needs? I have put night needs for my son as he's very complex and awaiting medication, did they confirm if you did/didn't have night needs? I'm just wondering in case I get a call soon
Thank you

Claire288 · 21/04/2023 10:45

@Leigh3 congratulations the dreaded wait is finally over for you. @MrsB113 hopefully fingers crossed for next week.

Leigh3 · 21/04/2023 10:46

She wanted to know what time the household goes to bed at night like when the doors are locked and Lights are out. And what times she wakes in the night and how long for and how often etc. I think that’s to see wether high rate or mid rate would be needed. I’m a very anxious speaker so I wrote out what I needed to say to her.

Marikel · 21/04/2023 10:49

@Leigh3 my decision was made on a Fri and recieved payment on the weds.
Does anyone know how long payment takes from uc?

Leigh3 · 21/04/2023 11:32

Thankyou ☺️

Lodol · 21/04/2023 11:41

I reported a change of circumstances on UC and was called yesterday they said I needed to change child details too

i did that and she said give it a week for the change to happen then put a note in my journal to request back payment she said she didn’t know how long it takes but hopefully not too long!

Autismum4 · 21/04/2023 11:49

Thank you @Leigh3 I wrote how long and how many times in the form , hopefully they read my notes because I sent them the booklet Diary to show the times .
@Lodol how long so far have you waited for back date ?

Marikel · 21/04/2023 11:54

Thankyou @Lodol I did the change on 17th didn't request backpay but if it's not added on then I will request it.

Sas1410 · 21/04/2023 14:02

I advised UC on 29 March, had a letter to say they agree to backdate on Tuesday of this week but nothing yet and my payment for end of April was updated today it shows that the disability element has been added on but nothing about backdating, I asked and have been told it takes 1 to 2 months x

Quackajack · 21/04/2023 14:35

My decision was made last Friday and I was paid today. 3-5 days for payment

Quackajack · 21/04/2023 14:40

3-5 working days

WouldJudasLeaveIt · 21/04/2023 15:24

Congratulations to all who’ve heard ❤️
