It's looking like we're going to need a new thread. Good luck to everyone waiting for a decision. Our scan date is 02/11 so it could be any day now, but most likely another week or two.

I don’t think I’ll be sending my forms in early next time

It’s a lot of stress and it really puts you off wanting to apply again with how long your having to wait now

The waiting is Awful the last few weeks have been the worse 😫

Hi anyone scanned on 5th December had any updates

I’m not sure whether to go for appeal process or just start a new claim. I sent in iep, copy of sleep prescription and ot report. We now being referred to a paediatrician

If you do a new claim I'm sure you have to wait a year before you can, I would appeal and gather as much evidence you can while waiting for it, if it goes to tribunal you would of been seen by peads and have the evidence to take at least that way you don't lose out on what you deserve because it will all get backdated

@Lisakel I'm also the same date but not heard anything yet except 2 letters to say they've received the claim and another saying sorry they haven't looked at it yet. I'm hoping it will be around March time we hear 🙏🏻

Yea hopefully before, it seems it depends what case worker you get and how back logged they are :( takes so long xx

I'm the same date as you I rang last week Monday I was told 4 weeks until I get a decision

How's everyone getting on today? I've just heard someone with the same scan date as me getting awarded today, I'm fighting the urge to call until the end of the week. The wait is agonising, waiting for someone that hasn't ever met DD deciding is she is 'in need enough' for extra help... I've completely lost confidence in an acceptance for DLA over this last week!

There's alot I've heard been accepted after my scan date I asked the woman how it work she just said depends on the person dealing with your case how fast there getting threw them etc my scan date is 27.10

@Mynotsoperfectlittlefamily mine didn't go to a dm until yesterday did you get awarded

It should be any day now, mine was due to end on 14th Feb. I didn’t get my forms back in till 19th December, and they had awarded last week sometime, I found out on Friday. Good luck
