DLA Wait Times Part 8 (2023)

It's looking like we're going to need a new thread. Good luck to everyone waiting for a decision. Our scan date is 02/11 so it could be any day now, but most likely another week or two.

Seems that way I was told last week will be end of March for a decision but three weeks ago was told would hear at 13 weeks I’m just going to leave it now seems they making it up as they go along

After telling myself I wouldn't ring I couldn't resist after work today as have seen so many awards around my scan date 9/11.

didn't get through after being on hold for 45 minutes. Will try again Friday.

I’m 3/11 I am holding out till Friday to call again now I think

This is taking sooo long

@harjinder01 I know the wait is so long, mine would have been 14 weeks tomorrow so only a day less. When I called last week she said anytime between 13-15 weeks. I would say except for a few ones which they've asked for more evidence that is the timeframe they awards have been coming. Hang in there!

Rang today, scan date 9/11 (new claim) and they lady said 15/16 weeks till dm so expected mid March! Last week they said 2 weeks. I hate this waiting game and the worry to go along with every other battle we have. Just have this awful feeling its going to be declined.

OMG! im so shocked just checked my bank and we have got DLA!! HRC and LRM!!! and i didnt even have much evidence only what i put in writing myself 😭😭😭

scan date was 4/11 so 14weeks and 6 days it went inot my bank!

Week 17. Still no word. Wondering if we was rejected now. She was diagnosed in September I forgot to send the diagnosis letter but sent it in January with ASD. Didn’t send anything from the school as she’s just moved up in September. New school doesn’t really know her they’ve got 1 sen teacher in the entire school of 800 kids 😞

Scan date 2/11, just received money in bank (no text/letter yet) - 15 weeks.

Our SENCo works at three different schools. I guess due to the lack of funding as the government don’t give a shit.

I’m pleased to see more people being awarded!

31/10 scan date , still nothing! They keep telling me it’s marked as priority and at the top of the pile. I start to regret applying as it is so stressful 😫

I am defo starting to feel that way also 😩little behind you 3/11 but so many people have had there decision after this date now is just stressing me out

took the plunge and called said it’s now with a decision maker but to wait another ten days before calling again 🙈

17/10 Going to call again for an update. This will be the last time I call. Had enough of this week already. Universal credit paid me £0 as well. Saying I earned £2000 I haven’t even made that in 5 months. Employer reported payment correctly, HMRC can’t figure out where they’ve got £2000 from either. And UC Keep escalating the case but never get back to me 😭😭

I am not ringing until Monday, luckily I am busy this week to distract my mind. Really tired ringing and them telling me different things 😔

Hi, scan date 10th November and I’ve just rang for an update and the decision maker decided my sons award yesterday. I was told last week that it would be another 2-3 weeks but obviously that wasn’t the case. X

I wasn’t going to to ring but I had sent some extra evidence around two weeks ago so I thought I would double check to make sure it was on the system but I won’t ring again now as like you say it’s different every time

As I mentioned few posts before i applied for my twins , my son has been awarded few weeks ago. They even told me that same dm should look at siblings case . Where is the logic 🤦🏻‍♀️. At this point I just want to know if it’s a yes or no !

Ok just got off the phone. Most helpful call I’ve had so far. But he messaged my case worker who hopefully will look in to it today 🤞🤞

Seems like diff places deal with how ever many in a day people being awarded later dates than others… :/

i just received the text to say she qualifies! Yay! Does anyone know how long this will take to be in my account? Thanks for keeping me sane folks! I’m so glad I chased them today. I called an hour ago and he messaged my case manager I got the text so quickly
