DLA Wait Times Part 8 (2023)

It's looking like we're going to need a new thread. Good luck to everyone waiting for a decision. Our scan date is 02/11 so it could be any day now, but most likely another week or two.

So happy for everyone that has been awarded 😝 just wondered if I should be worried that people whose scan dates are after mine have already been awarded? Also did everyone that was awarded receive a text? I may call on Monday and see what they say

I hear this! I keep seeing people around my scan date and after being awarded and all I get told is its with the dm which in my head is them not wanting to give me bad news over the phone lol good luck xx

@AdhdMumOf3 I’m glad I’m not the only one thinking that 🤦🏽‍♀️ good luck to you too, I spoke to them yesterday and was told it’s still with DM and I should hear by Thursday/Friday next week but now I’m thinking that would be enough time for a rejection letter to arrive

That's exactly what they told me, ring back on Friday if I haven't heard but the wait is so hard like just tell me already and I can prepare my mandatory reconsideration.. Hope you get a positive outcome x.

Congratulations to those awarded, nice to see some positive posts to end the week! Fingers crossed they are picking up speed. Hope the others still waiting are not bad news and just a slower dm.

Anyone scan date 28th nov. I feel like its been along wait already and still along way to go. Welldone to everyone whos been awarded. Glad yoyr babies got what they should.

We got other 6 weeks wait yet or more even less

Our scan date is 31/10 for one of my twins. One was awarded ages ago, another been with dm for couple of weeks. I have a feeling they will refuse . Honestly I’ve given up, was ringing pretty much every day 😣

@Chocolateandstrawberries hi mine isn’t a renewal it’s a first time claim and my scan date is 27th October, when I first applied I was able to just forget about it as I knew it was going to be months before I heard anything but now I know it’s with DM the wait is killing me 😢

28 of November nothing as yet

Hi i really through will not take this long because there even work workend as well still take sooo long for it we are on 10 weeks then we got 6 weeks left just some of us get fast so of us there take the time with i thing it's who has our claim application.

@harjinder01 I have been waiting just over 15 weeks since my scan date (27th October) and it has been with a DM for just under a week, some people who had scan dates after mine have got a decision already so now I’m anxious that mine is going to be declined 😢

Yes I’ve seen quite a few from the first week in November being awarded. I would say though that it’s entirely possible your DM got given a pile of 30 (random number I’m assuming they’re assigned at a time!) and then was off sick for five days. I’m guessing they don’t reallocate work unless the sickness is going to be long term (I work in the public sector and have a caseloads and we don’t have our work reallocated unless we’re going to be off for quite a while). It could be any number of things, I wish we could track progress online like you do worth DPD delivery!

@WreckTangled do you think I should call them on Monday just to see if my DM is in? When is your scan date if you don’t mind me asking? Thank you

I would call them Monday, and I’m not one to call frequently but you’ve been waiting ages. My scan date is 14/11 and when I called to add info last Wednesday he said to call back in two weeks to check (even though I didn’t even ask about the progress or time frame) which will be 14.5 weeks.

@WreckTangled it was so easy to forget about when I first applied as I was told it would be 13+ weeks but now I know it’s with a DM it’s making me anxious so I will call Monday and hope for the best
