It's looking like we're going to need a new thread. Good luck to everyone waiting for a decision. Our scan date is 02/11 so it could be any day now, but most likely another week or two.

Scan date 02/11. Went to DM yesterday. Was awarded yesterday (no text). So relieved.

@gingergingerginger omg amazing and so fast !! I called up today it’s still with the dm been with them since sat 😩 scan date 31/10 .. I called at 1 , I wonder if I should call again 😂

Yes. I didn't get a text. Something in my bones told me I wouldn't. Glad I rang because I was able to use the details to go online and apply for Carers' Allowance straight away.

Really hope you all get your answers very soon.

Lots of really positive posts today. My scan date is 09/11 and I feel more hopeful of timescales now than I did getting off the phone to them yesterday.

I'm going to call them first thing in the morning, my scan date was the 2/11 and haven't heard anything yet. I'm hopeful as others with that date now been awarded.

I think I've given up 🙈 after all my stressing, I now don't want to hear from them as I'm completely convinced she will be declined. Thinking about how little evidence we have and could provide... I don't think she will qualify or may be awarded LRC but going off the criteria, she definitely qualifies for HRC but as usual, we have no way of showing that, especially night time care needs etc. She's been so let down by the GP, CAMHS, everyone :(

If it puts your mind a rest at all I didn’t send any evidence at all either was sure we would get a decline! Still awaiting official diagnosis so all I could send in was a statement from his nursery backing up what I had put in the form. Fingers crossed for you x

I absolutely feel you with the feeling like you don’t have anything to show. Our night times are horrific but his 3 so the services are saying his two young and we have to try everything before they will intervene been 11/2 years… got worse still doing nothing.
