It's looking like we're going to need a new thread. Good luck to everyone waiting for a decision. Our scan date is 02/11 so it could be any day now, but most likely another week or two.

Honeypie91 · 03/02/2023 17:15

Cath82 · 03/02/2023 17:17

Hi, I've been lurking on here whilst we wait for our decision. Claiming for the first time with a scan date of 9/11.

following this thread has really helped as the last couple of weeks of waiting have felt endless.

mummyofthreemunchkins · 03/02/2023 17:18

Just called again on the off chance they could tell me something to ease my nerves for the weekend, still with a DM, I did remember to ask today when it was sent. It's been with a DM since Wednesday. Does anyone know of they are still working on award over the weekends? I was also told that texts are sent out based on acceptance only, so if it's rejected I only know if I call or wait for a letter.

MygirlGrace · 03/02/2023 17:20

Hi all,
Congratulations to those who have received good news 😊Good luck to those still waiting. My scan date was 2 October this is for a change of circumstances they said they are taking 22 weeks as they are least priority. I tried ringing just incase they are working overtime/weekends to see if poss be any sooner but waited 50 mins on phone then got cut off. Just incase anyone else is waiting on a change of circumstances decision. X

I'm currently on hold been nearly 50 minutes. I have soo much anxiety as I feel I haven't done enough in completing the form. My ds has no diagnosis but currently in a sen school. This platform has made me feel hopeful and supported. Thank you for being open this has been really helpful. Scan date was 1/11 eek

We have no formal diagnosis either. We are stuck in limbo and I feel like we haven't enough evidence..
She doesn't attend school, she can't leave the house 99% of the time.
We have ed psych reports and that she's on the waiting list for asc assessment, and trauma based CBT but this is nearly 2 years now.
Everything takes so long and in the mean time she has nothing
I'm so glad to hear you have been awarded x

I found that phoning at exactly 9am gives best results. If you can call at that time x

My scan day was 4/11 so I’m praying it’s with someone soon. I put barely anything in with it so I’ve got everything crossed to at least get MRC although he needs constant supervision 24/7. The wait is soul destroying cause all I can think is have I done enough for my child. Im sure we’re all the same.

Snickerdoodles19 · 04/02/2023 11:01

@Charlenecmp do you mean you did renewal in jan? Wasn’t due to end until April but have been awarded again?

Jackiesand · 04/02/2023 11:03

My scan date 31/10

gingergingerginger · 04/02/2023 11:10

Snickerdoodles19 · 04/02/2023 11:46

@Charlenecmp very good, I’m currently on week 12 for waiting for my renewal it doesn’t end for another 5 weeks so I think it will be another 4 weeks until I hear anything.

Charlenecmp · 04/02/2023 11:48

@Snickerdoodles19 hopefully soon for you I was gobsmacked when opened it tbh

AprilFools2015 · 04/02/2023 12:33

Thanks @LeaMack, I'll try that.
Like the GP, eh?

Symmz · 04/02/2023 15:59

Hi
I’ve just submitted my renewal (quite late) what’s lg please?. My sons claim runs out 11th March and hope it is assessed in time. It’s is so nerve racking as DLA helps to make life better when your child has needs… this is always stressful.
