DLA Wait Times Part 8 (2023)

It's looking like we're going to need a new thread. Good luck to everyone waiting for a decision. Our scan date is 02/11 so it could be any day now, but most likely another week or two.

Is there anyone on her for a renewal that will run out on the 17/02?

Mine is 21st Feb. Scanned 20th Oct. Told this week it will be done 1 week before due to run out!

Waiting stress people out

People who are already so stressed having to deal with everything that is making them need to apply in the first place.
Nothing is easy when you child has an illness or disability is it :( nothing at all :(

Been following this thread for a while. Scan date for my twins 31/10. Sent as much as possible evidence. Really want to call and afraid at the same time 😩

Definitely call, if you get a better time frame you will feel less stressed about the wait. And you never know, they might have made the decision but not updated you yet, it seems to happen a lot x

I just called scan date (31/10) it’s going to a decision maker tomorrow . He put a note on my account for the dm to txt me when they have made a decision but if I havnt heard by Monday afternoon I’ll call again .. it’s honestly painful now ! Praying for a txt over the weekend 🙏🏼

Hi all been a silent follower on this page for a good few weeks now and it’s been so nice seeing support from you all and knowing your not alone in the lengthy exhausting process I have tried to put it to the back of my mind but it’s getting so hard now driving me insane scan date November 3rd so seeing people starting to get decisions for November is making me very nervous 🥴

Said the same when I called. Wait time was about half an hour.

I'm currently on hold been nearly 50 minutes. I have soo much anxiety as I feel I haven't done enough in completing the form. My ds has no diagnosis but currently in a sen school. This platform has made me feel hopeful and supported. Thank you for being open this has been really helpful. Scan date was 1/11 eek

Hi Kell. Same date as us. I'm so anxious too. Just want a decision and to move on now. My son hasn't got a diagnosis either. What evidence did you send?
