It's looking like we're going to need a new thread. Good luck to everyone waiting for a decision. Our scan date is 02/11 so it could be any day now, but most likely another week or two.

I'm very lucky. My husband is usually happy for me to endlessly natter on and overthink things at him as much as I need to, but right now he's in a completely different time zone. I bet he's secretly glad about that because he knows I'm obsessing about this!

Yes, exactly, regarding telling other people. It's a whole Conversation isn't it. I don't have the capacity either.

I'm rubbish at waiting for news. Good luck to you.

Yeah he is very good at listening, but I think he can't understand why I'm so OTT over this waiting.
I can't myself really but I think I'm just hyper focusing on it, as something I CAN wait for and call if needed or gather more evidence etc.
I don't know, maybe it's easier to focus on this wait than the wait for CAMHS help, or other support services that just don't seem to ever come 🙈😂 at least this has a time frame haha

@Hayhoarematthews unless it’s changed no, you usually get renewal form about 5 months before it’s due to end.

He claim is due to end July

Snickerdoodles19 · 03/02/2023 09:35

@Hayhoarematthews you should get it automatically in march but if not definitely ring them up, at the minute they aren’t even looking at renewals until a few weeks before they are due to end.

Hayhoarematthews · 03/02/2023 09:37

Ok thank you first time having to do a renewal, is it as long as a new claim pack? And do you have to re list everything like a new claim

LeaMack · 03/02/2023 09:37

Caz3babies · 02/02/2023 17:16

I’m scan date 7/11 no updates at all 😞 it’s so stressful isn’t it!

Mine is 8/11. I spoke to a lady this morning who told me they are still on at least 13 weeks to get to DM ! I thought it was 13 weeks til decision 😪
So I'm thinking at least another 2 weeks. And really trying now to not think about it...or wait for the postman, or jump at every text 😂😂

Snickerdoodles19 · 03/02/2023 09:39

@Hayhoarematthews its pretty much the same yes, even though it’s a renewal it’s still treat as a new claim so all new info and evidence will have to be provided.

Hayhoarematthews · 03/02/2023 09:42

OK thank you If not much has changed so no new evidence do you resend all the previous evidence off again

Snickerdoodles19 · 03/02/2023 09:43

@Hayhoarematthews it’s got to be your most up to date and recent evidence, I always send evidence with a 2/3 year window from the last renewal I did.

Hayhoarematthews · 03/02/2023 09:48

OK thank you she only got her award in October and was for 1 year which is July when I first applied so only a few appointments since she got her award

Snickerdoodles19 · 03/02/2023 09:49

@Hayhoarematthews ok, so anything you have from the time she was awarded use that, they can always request info from professionals, is she under the hospital?

Hayhoarematthews · 03/02/2023 09:50

Will start getting it up together, yes she is and under a nurse she was due to be seen by hospital before Xmas but hasn't so I'm currently trying to chase this up aswell

Snickerdoodles19 · 03/02/2023 09:54

@Hayhoarematthews yes definitely keep on at them as it’s a nightmare for hospital appointments now, it’s better to get everything prepared so when it does come through it’s a case of filling the form in, also I always write extra about everyday life and all aspects of life which is hard for my son.

angier74 · 03/02/2023 09:55

My scan date was 1/11 expecting to hear something in next few days. Apparently doing this date now. Hate the anxiety 😣

Hayhoarematthews · 03/02/2023 09:56

Thats what I thought I would do, yes I did that last time with my daughters so will do the same again you would think with renewals it would be a case of a more simple form considering it had already been accepted

Vickaah · 03/02/2023 09:57

I had my claim scanned on the 4/11 still nothing and not with a decision maker yet. The wait is gruelling

harjinder01 · 03/02/2023 10:06

My scan date is 28 November and its soo long

Snickerdoodles19 · 03/02/2023 10:10

@Hayhoarematthews no it’s not nice having to do them at all, it’s very stressful especially now with the length of time you have to wait but if you start now and just write a bit at a time it’s easier.

Jackiesand · 03/02/2023 10:14

My scan date 31/10 I phoned this morning not with a DM yet might go at the weekend but may be another week or two for a decision.

BobbieTeapot · 03/02/2023 10:38

Been following these threads for a few months now. Called up today for an update on my claim for my twins. Scan date 01/11 for both. One was awarded MRC yesterday, the other not decided yet. Thought I’d let people know

harjinder01 · 03/02/2023 11:08

Waiting stress people out

Chocolateandstrawberries · 03/02/2023 11:15

Is there anyone on her for a renewal that will run out on the 17/02?
