DLA Wait Times Part 8 (2023)

It's looking like we're going to need a new thread. Good luck to everyone waiting for a decision. Our scan date is 02/11 so it could be any day now, but most likely another week or two.

I've just found this post and signed up to say thanks to you all. I sent off my daughters claim end of Oct, I'm not sure what date they have so I'm going to call and find out.
I feel like I've been going a bit crazy with the waiting 🙈 I've even been dreaming about receiving the letter.
I feel so much better knowing everyone is in the same boat

Hi Lea. Yeah, we're all going a bit crazy with this. I keep telling myself that there's no point getting stressed about it. What will be, will be. But it's not really working. My DH is working abroad at the moment, and I haven't told anyone else we've applied, so I'm just slowly, silently, losing the plot on my own.

Sometimes I wish I was a rational person!

Scan date 16/11. Rung this morning advised it’s currently a 13/14 week wait which is higher than I was last told!

Few people on the DLA fb page getting awarded today with scan dates 1/2nd November so looks like they hopefully getting last of October done today and starting on November! 🤞

I've just got off the phone to a lovely worker, Scan date 1/11 and it's with a DM now! Could hear by tomorrow, could still be a week depending on where it is in the pile... Anxiety inducing or what?!?!

I am shaking with relief. I’ve just rang up & they said a decision was made yesterday & she was awarded. I am so bloody happy. This will make a world of difference to us. Thank you all for this thread it has been amazing & made me feel less alone in the waiting process. I hope you all get everything you deserve & more 😘😘

Just called again 😂 and was told it’s been allocated now & I should get a txt this weekend 🤞🏼. when she saw my scan date (31/10) she said they are doing that date now .
the excitement /nerves are insane right now !!
