DLA Wait Times Part 8 (2023)

It's looking like we're going to need a new thread. Good luck to everyone waiting for a decision. Our scan date is 02/11 so it could be any day now, but most likely another week or two.

Scan date 31/10 called today and was told it’s not with a dm yet but is right at the top of the pile & when it goes to the dm it can take a couple of hours or a few days but I should have decision by Friday, possibly even by wed .. I said if Iv not heard anything by Friday should I call back ? She said yes defo .

Have u heard anything i havent x

Mines the 30/10 haven’t heard anything yet fingers cross I do by the end of the week.

@Rainbow1600 no nothing yet , I was going to call today but it said only continue the call if it’s an emergency as there on strike , going to call tomorrow x

So just a heads up not sure if I said before but I was told over the phone I had been awarded when I rang… I have this morning woke up to receive the back payment in my bank (yay!). It still no letter, text etc - so for those waiting you could well have been awarded but not know!

I've just found this post and signed up to say thanks to you all. I sent off my daughters claim end of Oct, I'm not sure what date they have so I'm going to call and find out.
I feel like I've been going a bit crazy with the waiting 🙈 I've even been dreaming about receiving the letter.
I feel so much better knowing everyone is in the same boat

Good luck to everyone!! especially the claims that are still in October. mine was 24th October and was awarded on Tuesday

I’m going to call again this morning to see if it’s with DM at least… I only have 2 weeks till it’s run outs.. they are pushing it close!

@Christinaja yes I'm ringing at 9 every time I ring its a different story so hopefully something good will be said today :-)

I didn't think I was going to call, but I did. Scan date 02/11. On the plus side I got through straight away. On the downside, it's not gone to a decision maker yet. At least I can stand down my anxiety for today (I hope).

She said they are taking about 13 weeks.

Just called and was told it’s in the overtime pile and not gone to a dm yet , everyone iv spoken to up until now has Been so positive that it will be any day now .. this women’s telling me it could still be a few weeks !
When I told her Iv already called earlier in the week and been told different she changed her tune and was like well it could go to them today or sooner as they are doing loads of overtime 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ fml

Good luck to you all I hope you all get what you deserve for your babies my award is much appreciated and will come in very handy for her needs I'm over the moon I waited along time but it was worth the wait I hope you all get it if you go threw what I do with my little one
