DLA waiting times part 7

Hi everyone i started new thread as the other one was getting full my scan date is 23rd September still waiting for decision.

I got a call this morning scan date 17/10 my bank details were wrong was from case manager - I’m hoping this is a positive indicator

@mammaov3 with UC my carers element was backdated and paid to me within a week. Made the change 13th December.
However still don’t have backdated child disabilty element 🙄

I applied for DLA for two of my children.
15yr old who is diagnosed adhd and autistic and it was turned down. Did MR. Received letter today to say it’s still a no.
the other child was awarded HRC. No diagnosis. So just goes to show that they don’t just go off diagnosis. I don’t believe their decision to be correct but I don’t know if I can’t go to tribunal and fight it as I am pretty much done with it. Will think it over.

Please anyone waiting for an update. Please keep the faith. I was the same but I am just still shocked! X

Aww so glad you got the news you was hoping for I have just received a text to say my lil one has been awarded not sure what rates I'll have to give them a call but so relieved I have finally heard back x

@jesskay finally got through. Hrc lrm am soo happy our kids are getting what they deserve 😊. And yes I agree this thread has been amazing I was a silent reader for weeks lol x

I’ve been a silent reader other than the odd question but now we’re getting closer the wait is beginning to make me anxious. I haven’t been bothered before and could just put it out my mind but we still have roughly 5/6 weeks to wait (scan date 23/11) and anxiety is definitely taking hold

@Katie211291 that’s amazing I was awarded until 2025 so it’s amazing. How long was you awarded. Please have the faith and any other info you may have just call them and they will make notes. Xx

Once it’s with decision maker it’s normally quick. Mine took just under a week from decision maker x

I decided to call at 4.45pm after seeing others with the same scan date get a decision and they said a decision was made yesterday. HRC and LRM till September 2024. I'm glad the waiting is finally over.

Scan date was 19th oct mine went to decision maker Thursday last week . Decision today x

Scan date 24th October called today not with a DM yet 😞

@Donna2324 I have a feeling by Friday will be with a decision maker or Monday at the latest x

Hey, I am doing a renewal for my son .. I sent the forms back 13th December and when I rang they didn’t get scanned on until 4th January 2023 .. how long is waiting time on renewals? Is it quicker than a new claim? I know I’ll have a while to wait yet .. Thank you! X

@Brown2010 seen a few people say rentals are being done 2 weeks before it’s due to, hopetha5 helps x
