Hi everyone i started new thread as the other one was getting full my scan date is 23rd September still waiting for decision.

Is there more than one office? It seems so strange that some people are getting awarded when others who applied before are hearing nothing?

Scan date 26th September rang this morning hasn’t been allocated yet to a decision maker 😐 looks like be after Christmas

i raily have a urge to call them today even though they rang me yesterday to say its in a queue 🙃 just want to no iff its with DM yet 23rd sep like the rest of you its driving me crazy might hold off ringing until tomorrow's iff i can 🤨

What do you say when you ring up? I'm 12 weeks today. Rang up at 8 weeks to update on circumstances. Didn't know could ring to check up on claim.

I got told would be allocated this week but there only working 27- 30th next week so if don’t hear owt I’m waiting till Friday now see if there’s any update then won’t be till next week 😐

i just got told its in a queue but didn't say if its with DM or not and thats what i want to know and i feel if dont hear this week probably wont be until first week of January 😔

has anyone who got awarded had a txt any time of day or even back pay in bank any time of day ?

Spoke to them and not with anyone yet so looking at about 2/3 weeks. Will be 15 weeks by then.

good luck everyone for today it would be such a relief if we could all get answers before Xmas as this has got my anxiety and I’m sure many others through the roof i don’t cope well with the unknown

oh god think im gunna hold off today and ring them tomorrow just to check if with dm yet becouse last friday they seid they was putting a urgent message on computer to get it seen to as its past deadline and to not be with the dm yet will pee me off further 😑

Been following for a while. Scan date 27/09.
Anxiety is reaching boiling point. I've accepted that rejection is 99% likely at this point.
I don't even think i sent enough evidence (ed psy report/speech&lang report/ehcp/camhs wait list letter for assessment)
I'm on hold now, will keep my everything crossed I don't have to do MR 😒😭.

@mammaov3 just got off the phone!

He informed me that the claim is 'live' and awaiting a case manager??

When looking at my scan date he said that it could be the new year before I hear anything.
(Scanned 27/09) and if I didn't hear by the 2nd week of Jan to ring back and they will escalate it.

Fingers crossed 🤞 I got asked my insurance and who I bank with when rang. After I had given all my sons details. Is that normal of them to ask or a good sign?

Anyone had news today? im going to ring them tomorrow afternoon if i haven't heard anything and iff its still not with a DM im literally going to try forgetting about it untill after Christmas i no its hard but its not doing any of us any good stressing and phone twitching lol

I'll call tomorrow at some point, have another interview booked in with UC on Thursday so need up to date information to appease them. You would of thought UC could see the information for themselves after all both are run by DWP (if I'm not mistaken) Oh well hope you all have the most joy filled Christmas. Xx

I called them today my son has been rewarded dla. It takes about 5 working days from when the decision was made to land in your bank account. My scan date was 11th September.
