Hi everyone i started new thread as the other one was getting full my scan date is 23rd September still waiting for decision.

Mine was sorted overnight last night (I rang yesterday) and will go in on Friday x

I've got the same scan date as you, I was going to call today to double check they got new evidence but didn't get the chance. I'll be calling tomorrow, fingers crossed not much longer 🤞

Got awarded today, Scan date 18th of October. HRC and LRM. Very happy that my little one has what he needs :)

I was awarded last week Friday reported c of c to tax credits online same day checked online account yesterday backdated pymnts going in tom .

I sent the claim at the end of September and heard nothing at all until Monday when we got a letter saying sorry for the delay, you will hear in due course. And then yesterday out of the blue, backdated payments appeared in my bank account for HRC and LRM. Daughter is diagnosed autistic and awaiting ADHD assessment. So if you haven't heard for a while there is definitely still hope you will be successful. We included evidence from school, OT, autism nursing team, and autism advisory teacher, as well as her diagnosis - I put everything in I had.

I sent CAMHs referral, Occupational Health referral (still waiting on both) diagnosis letter, a statement and written letter from the SENCO and diagnosis letter. I also wrote three pages elaborating on the difficulties we had. Took me weeks.

Hi. I'm only on week 8 waiting and I have a long wait yet by the looks of things! But the anxiety is real!
It all seems so positive, everyone has had positive decisions from what I've read which is amazing by the way! Glad you have all recieved what your children deserve.
Has anyone's been refused before? I'm waiting for a renewal and I'm so worried it will be either be refused or knocked down from current MRC to LRC. My son is diagnosed ASD since 1 years old. Needs help with everything and can only speak 2 words at a time. He didn't have any speech until 5 years old he is now 8.
My worry is, I've not sent in any paperwork from anywhere only a statement from school SENCO.
Anyone out there who has had to do a renewal and been successful/unsuccessful getting the same amount for their child? Thanks

@Nicnac91 morning, I just had my renewal awarded on Monday, they kept it at the same rates for him which I was happy with, hasn’t your son got an EHCP or seen by educational psychologist/sssen teacher? Is he under the hospital?

Hi all, I updated just over 2 weeks ago, my ds turned 16 so had to apply for pip, had a phone call just over 2 weeks ago saying no assessment necessary and would go to the DM, still heard nothing but got usual dla pymt yesterday. HRC LRM, I thought the no assessment was a good sign, now I’m not so sure. The waiting is the worst!

Hoping I hear something today! I have got such a bad feeling my son won’t get what he deserves x

The lady I spoke to said that your dla payment would carry on as normal until the decision was made for pip and then they would switch over.

@Squishy1911 I’m not sure I’m just sick of phoning and being told the same thing. Not sure what to do I just know it’s going to be declined. 😓

Definitely try 9am they pick up straight away. All the nice people are in the morning hahaha.

@jesskay think positive I know the longer you have to wait the more you think you will get declined, I would give them another call this week and see what’s happening x

24th October phoned 2 days ago and not be allocated to a DM yet, anyone same scan date who has had an award or been told it’s with a DM?

Just rang. Scan date 27/10
They are expecting we will have a decision made first week of feb. Not with a decision maker yet but expected to go to one by the end of this week.

Does anyone know how long it takes to get back payment from carers element please my work coach only just sent it to a DM so not sure its even with them yet i made the change to UC on 23rd December

How long have you been waiting? Mine has been 14 weeks + xx
