Thought I'd continue the thread as it had reached its limit.

My application will be awhile before any response but scanned 5 July and nothing yet.

I would call them hun. Especially as people who's dates are after yours have heard. I'd be fuming at that x

July? And it'd with a decision maker already 😯

I'm buckling in for a fair wait as my application for DS was only received on 17th August, but I'm finding it helpful to read this thread and watch the process.

Just got off the phone, scan date 5th July, no outcome yet. Said current claims taking 12-14 weeks 😫. So another 2-4 weeks waiting for me.

Scan date 16th June still waiting, haven’t had a call from anyone yet rung to add more information last week and they said up to another 2 weeks

They are just adding weeks on now. So bloody frustrating.
I'm getting pestered by UC because I'm not on carers allowance at the moment. My claim went in as a new claim rather than renewal because I never received the renewal pack for some reason and I didn't ring on time to get it sent out.
My son has been on DLA for 8 years.

@Lynseyb91 so happy you got a good result. so nervous 😩 my boy hasn’t got a diagnosis yet, hasn’t even seen anyone yet. Was referred in March and still waiting. I sent every form and report i had just worried it wasn’t enough.

@Sarahjlk I wouldnt worry about that my daughter doesn't have a diagnosis yet although she is obviously asd. She wears a protective helmet 24 hours a day and is on sleep medication/ has an occupational therapist. I think a diagnosis doesn't seem to matter hope the best for you xx

Thankyou girls and don’t worry my son doesn’t either. I really believe it’s how the form is filled out. I did mine myself but I’m a student nurse so I’m used to filling forms out lol. Good luck xxx

What was your scan date again?

Hi all new to this but I’ve been following my scan date was the 21st of June still haven’t heard anything called up twice first time I got told September I will hear from dla then when I called on September the 1st I got told by the 20th of September I should hear back from them and if not I need to call in. It’s amazing how others have heard back from after my scan date but I’m so scared to call again called only twice. I received two letters stating acknowledgment then second stating sorry for the delay you will hear from us soon. So eager to know if my DS qualifies he isn’t diagnosed but school had detected that he has Adha and Global delay. He is currently with speech and language and now getting help from school had 1:1 and is in the sensory room occasionally he also has autism traits he also suffers with seizures every month. Hope you all hear back soon and we get what we all deserve for our children.

Does anyone have the address to return completed forms? I printed mine out rather than requesting one and it’s says to return to free post dwp child. No postcode or anything so I’m a little nervous to send to this address. I’m sure I can remember previously sending one to Wolverhampton.

I’m sure that’s right that’s where I sent me evidence. I got it offline and still didn’t believe it so I rang to confirm cx
