DLA Wait times 2022 Part 4

Thought I'd continue the thread as it had reached its limit.

My application will be awhile before any response but scanned 5 July and nothing yet.

Same scan date as me.. the longer I don’t hear or receive payment the more anxious i am becoming that’s we’ve been refused. The wait is horrible when you have wrote every last detail about your child being different to others, and could get refused.

Just called. My scan date is 21st June. Unfortunately my daughters application hasn't even been looked at yet. Really disappointing. She didn't give a time frame she did say last week it was taking 12.5 weeks. Xx

@Girlmum25 mine is 15th June I rang Friday still wasn’t looked at. I was told another 2/3 weeks x

They scanned it on July 19th and I received a letter a few days ago apologising that they are yet to make a decision , it’s been 8 weeks today so I could pjone up to check

I know they are busy but I find it crazy that the form has sat there for 3 months and not even looked at! Hope you get some good news soon! 2-3 weeks is a long time when you've waited so long already x

I’ve just got off the phone with them. Same scan date as you 19th July and he’s said probably be another 4 weeks to get to CM and then an extra week for DM. New claims are taking about 12 weeks according to him.

Yeah they are only just on the middle of June atm x

I am still waiting on a decision for a new claim scan date 6 June. Rang for the third time on Friday to be told it is with the decision maker (was told the same the Fri before). Woman on phone just said they have a pile to work through and depends which ones they pick up first!

Ask them what dates they are working on this week. I hope you get some good news xx

Hi guys, I just called this morning for the first time. They told me they were working on week up to 17th June. And that my claim would take 2-3 more weeks (scan date 23rd June). Although should be next week if they’re working on week up to 17th this week 🤷‍♀️

That’s actually crazy yours definitely should have been looked at by now… shocking

Only the 17th? 🙄 they were doing up to 16th last week. Would expect them to be on somewhere around 23rd by now x

Ohhhhhh lol so if it’s taking them one week to do a days worth then maybe it is gonna take about 2-3 weeks 😂🤦‍♀️

Just got through
Ours was scanned on the 14th July and the woman said its with the decision maker still. It was with them on Thursday last week.
She said we are looking at 13 weeks rather than 12.
