My application will be awhile before any response but scanned 5 July and nothing yet.

Hi everyone so my scan date was the 16th of June. At 4.45 today I had a text say that my son qualifies for dla. So happy after this very long wait. When should I expect the first payment and should I give them a cal tomorrow to find out rates ?

Should be this Wednesday I think.
I'd ring and make sure though

im so anxious to know if my DS qualifies and gets what he deserves would be such a weight off my shoulders I just want to know whether or not he qualifies. It’s been a long wait, but I guess good things come to those who wait. But what a wait this has been.

So happy for u. They told me upto 5 days. If they sent the payment before 12 this this morning u would get it Wednesday if not Thursday. Xx

My son has been awarded high rate care lower rate mobility. We are so grateful ! This is going to make a huge difference to his quality of life. I work but get my wages topped up with universal credit. What do I need to do next ?

I only knew because I rang. I still haven’t got the letter a lot of people get payment before letter. No harm in ringing and good luck xx
