Thought I'd continue the thread as it had reached its limit.

My application will be awhile before any response but scanned 5 July and nothing yet.

@Malimum it'll be the low one you're only entitled to the high if they get hrc dla x

I get carers allowence and I get mrc and lrm ATM they take it from you uc credit though as its classed as income. But then you get carers element on uc which is £169 a month so u loose about £100 a month if u claim carers allowencee

yay im glad you have you have your award, mine is finally with a case manager so hopefully not much longer

just an update for those around the 25th july mine scan date is 25th and its with a case manager

For those with coc I've just called them now and got told different again. My scan date 24th June and been told I won't hear nothing until the middle off November she said it's taking 20 weeks plus for coc. Get told different every time I call. I'm not calling them again now.

Mine is now with a case maker she wouldn't tell me when it went to them though

Hi guys my daughters claim 19th July was told I t was with decision maker Monday is it pushy if I ring again today to see if decision has been made? How long is it usually with Dm? Getting anxious now as seeing a lot of dates past ours

did they tell you when it went to a decision maker? no harm in ringing again good luck i got told mine is with a case maker but didn't say when it went to one

Hi no they didn’t say but when I rang the Thursday before it wasn’t with a dm.. think I might ring them today but if there’s no update I’ll hold off until Monday ( if no money in the bank by then lol )

@Lianney84 did they tell you what date they are working on? Im 13th of june and it's driving me insane now. All this waiting and anxiety and it could actually be for nothing. I rang monday to give more information but she never told me dates etc.x

I rang up the woman was nice but didn’t go into much detail .. she said it’s with a DM but hasn’t yet been looked at, she said once it’s looked at it’s usually a quick process but to ring back in a few days or early next week

I’ve been quite patient so far but it’s just the fact of people later dated getting awarded making me worry that we’re declined but if she said it hasn’t been looked at yet then that’s obviously not the case xx

I'm sure it won't be long couple of days if it's with case worker Friday I reckon at the latest good luck :)

that's more then i got she just said with a case maker, if its not been looked at, at least its not a no, good luck hopefully not much longer for you

It has been a right old grind thats for sure I'm just absolutely relieved it's over and he has got what he deserves that relief will be with you soon no doubt :)

@Hayhoarematthews Just spoke to someone and my scan date is 27th not 26th like thought so could possibly beginning of next week for me now she said. Another week of waiting for me

oh no a few times they have told me wrong scan date on phone but as i still have letter i corrected them, if there working on 25th today hopefully sooner then next week for you

@Hayhoarematthews i really hope so this wait is ridiculous. Even more so all this anxiety could be for nothing if declined.
positive thinking though. I’m sure you will have a decision by tomorrow if already with DM as she did say that they aren’t taking long to decide

i agree with you 8 weeks i didn't think would be to bad but each week it got closer the time frame changed, i know the anxiety is crazy im not getting hopes up for mine but we shall see is the case manager the same as a decision maker do you know?

@Hayhoarematthews I believe it’s the same person so fingers crossed, it’s hard not to want to keep phoning and checking. At least the woman I had today was really helpful. I’m going to leave it while Monday now and then call
