Thought I'd continue the thread as it had reached its limit.

My application will be awhile before any response but scanned 5 July and nothing yet.

Scan date 19th July no idea if it’s even with a decision maker so going to ring up this morning x

Mines not with anyone as of yet but he said they are working up untill 26th this week so as 25th it should be with someone by end of week so to call back next week if not heard anything

Just rang my son been awarded middle rate till 2024 so happy !! Decision was made Friday

I am the same as you. Have you recieved payment yet or did they say when you should recieve payment ?

@Mkd1322 Yes, it's absolute torture at this point. They've had the forms since June 16th. Was told last Tuesday they were working up to June 6th for COC.

@OKJ our scan date is the 13th of june. Ive just called up to give new information, she said these claims can take upto 17 weeks i said I'm on 19weeks so hopefully not to much longer and wouldn't give me a date they are working on because of false hope. X

I just rang up new claim dated 19th July

and was told it is with decision maker now

I no @Cass29 the woman i spoke to was actually nice, better than the one last week. If you ring up and get given dates will you let us know please x

@Mkd1322 yeah i will let you know if i ring . If they were working on the 6th last week im assuming its our turn this week x

I'm waiting on coc scan date 24th June. I was told last Monday coc are taking 4 months and was with case manager if not heard by 26th October to call back.
Me being me though rang again Friday just gone and was told something completely different and that I've got another 5/6 weeks to wait...literally no words it's draining my energy all this waiting around

@Lianney84 wow another 5 to 6 weeks that is a long time . My scan date is the 16th of june so 19 weeks same as the other 2 ladys above we have been waiting x

@Lianney84 maybe ring back on the 26th and see what they say for peace of mind because i think they all tell people different things . When i phoned 3 weeks ago she was lovely never gave out dates or anything but said its not with a dm yet you are looking at a few more weeks yet and my thought is if you tell me a few weeks i take that as 3 weeks or that could be me being hopeful ☺️

Yes it's very annoying the lady that told me ring back on 26th if not heard anything was lovely.The got a right awkward women the second basically saying it is what it is 🤣.but to be told they are dealt with in 4 month and now mine coming up to 18 weeks it doesn't make sense... I will call back on weds see what they say. When I said to the awkward lady that I was told different on the Monday she said well I'm telling you that's not the case 🙈🙈🙈

@Lianney84 so really she does not know then . But think we are proof they take longer than 4 month 😄

If I have got to wait a further 5/6 weeks that takes me until end November... I rang for coc forms back in May 16th and didn't receive them until begging June as something got mixed up so goes to show they don't know there arse from the elbow hah🤣🤣🤣

I’m absolutely fuming my son was given low rate for both and now I appreciated it so much but now I know I can’t get carers to be home to take care of him and his needs is a joke ,, looks like I’m still in the fight for what’s right for my son 15 years I’ve been fighting 😭
