Thought I'd continue the thread as it had reached its limit.

My application will be awhile before any response but scanned 5 July and nothing yet.

Chrissynb I just wanted to say thanks for the replys and the info everyone has been posting as when you are waiting on a decision for such a long time it makes you feel better to read that others are there going through the same as myself and getting real time information. As when I was speaking to others in my area they were making me more anxious as they were saying mine only took 6 weeks then mine took 8 weeks .but I would just like to say to people just ring and ask it can't hurt as my decision was made on Monday but I still wouldn't have known it was successful if I didn't ring xgood luck to everyone waiting xcant wait to do something special with my little girl x

Does anyone know if maybe different areas are done quicker due to smaller amounts of applications ?

Hi guys. Scan date 18th July. Been awarded HRC and LRM! Had money in bank so rang up and DD has 2 year award. Been a long stressful road but happy to get what she deserves! Good luck to you all still waiting

I had a text last night saying my child qualifies for DLA. Not sure what rate yet. I called yesterday morning and the lady said it hasn’t gone to DM yet. Scan date 20th July

Maybe call back again this afternoon x

Dated 19th July I’ve just rang and been told mine is with a decision maker so hopefully not long now

I asked and didn't even get a text, I found out an hour after decision was made by chance cos I rang up x

I'm 13 weeks tomorrow 25th july- wasn't with a dm last week gonna ring tomorrow to see if it is yet
