DLA Wait times 2022 Part 4

Thought I'd continue the thread as it had reached its limit.

My application will be awhile before any response but scanned 5 July and nothing yet.

My childs dla new claim form was scanned on the 12/07/22 now been waiting 15 weeks still no news has anyone else had to wait this long as people are telling me should only take 8 weeks.

The claim for me/son took 14 weeks and at least 1 week of that was with dm

I am 14 weeks today , I might give them a phone , I did phone last Monday to give them extra evidence and ithey said it was due to be looked at end of last week .

Does anyone know how long after they update your journal with the disability element and carers element of dla how long it takes for bk dated payment to go in bank

a long wait? did everyone send a lot of information? i just sent my girls asd diagnosis report and adhd report and a copy of the pupil passport plan she is on at school

Hi my form was scanned 12th of July I rang this morning and found out I was awarded middle rate and lower mobility back dated to 27th May unsure when I will receive a payment so anyone still waiting on this time frame give them a ring

Anyone stamped 18/19 July and had any news? So anxious

Just phoned and told my child has been awarded today , so delighted for my child Scan date 13th July . Good luck everyone else waiting. That was a wait of 14 weeks .

I'm 18th July I was told I should have a decision by end of October, have seen a few awarded around that date so got everything crossed 🤞🏻

I'm in 13th week this week Monday will be 14th, this wait is making me so anxious, find myself checking here every couple of hours 🙈

My little boys claim was stamped the 12th of July. Called this morning and they say it isn’t with the DM yet and it is a clerical claim. Does anyone know what a clerical claim is and how long they are taking? The man I spoke to wasn’t able to give me any idea of how long it would be.

I plucked up the courage to call and my boy has been awarded low care and low mobility my scan date was 14th July they said it was awarded yesterday I hope this helps those waiting x Im over the moon for my son it may not be much but it’s going to make such a difference for him x

I’ve phoned just now and have also been awarded MRC and LRM, scan date of 14th July. Fingers crossed for everyone still waiting!

Mine got backdated and issued on Monday, I've checked bank this morning and it's pending for credit tomorrow

So good to hear that people around the middle of July have been awarded ! I’m just trying to phone now to see if they have any updates .

Thanks chrissynb my decision was made on Monday but to be honest I'm just glad she got it that had to be the worst 15weeks ever waiting for someone you don't know to make a decision on our lives but this will help make life a bit easierx

I’m just off the phone my daughter got awarded today , MRC and LRM . That was scanned 14th July .

Just rang for an update (scan date 29th july) he said there working on dates upto the 18th this week and it's taking 13weeks on average for it to go to the DM

I've just rang up on off chance I'm 18th July scan date and decision was made an hour ago! Back payment to go in Tuesday! Awarded MRC and LRM, hope everyone else gets there decision soon! So happy the anxiousness is over ❤️

Mines 19th and they wouldn’t tell me it was with DM or not
