DLA Wait times 2022 Part 4

Thought I'd continue the thread as it had reached its limit.

My application will be awhile before any response but scanned 5 July and nothing yet.

I'm not 100% sure if I'm completely honest. Sorry I'm not help on that xx

Hiii. So my scan date was June 21st I phoned again yesterday as I had a friend who's scan date was June 15th and she was awarded last Fri. Ours still hasn't been passed over to cm and they said they was working on cases till June 17th and that hopefully it would be passed over end of this week or next week but said that it was still a possibility of 21/28 days for a decision. The bloke was so lovely explaining it all. I just find it frustrating with the waiting and not knowing if gonna be accepted or will have to appeal and how long will that take if have too. Figured I would ring tue or weds to see if update as they closed till Tues after today x

My scan date 15th June. I rang last Friday told me app was still not assigned to no one! Rang Monday told me I was awarded on the Saturday 🤣.. they are pretty fast once they are with someone xx

@Mamaof41988 I know how you feel the wait is just draining. Same scan date 21st June. I rang on Wednesday she said it's waiting to passed over to a decision maker. Not got my hopes for an award soon lmao fingers crossed. What gets me is that ok the initial letter they say 8 weeks when they know damn well that's a lie 😂 she was really nice though. I'm going to ring in Tuesday xx

Morning! I was awarded on Tuesday and money dropped in bank this morning! (Scan date 16th June) does any one know how the back dated payment works? It doesn’t seem like it’s covered the 13 weeks it took so does the rest get added to the next payment? 🤔 X

Just to let u all know my scan date was 12 July n Iv been awarded this morning. Ill b ringing them at 9 so happy for my daughter

Ye, well it was b4 that I'm sure it was but took an extra 3weeks as I didn't sign it lol. Anyway they said 12 July. So only been 10 weeks n confused shocked but happy. Thank u

I've just figured something out lol. If your date was actually 3 weeks before then it would have been around the 21st? So they must be working around that date now 🙂🤞

No it didn't matter that it was 3 weeks b4 that I asked, it had to go by the date it was signed, they stamped it 12th July. Daughters been awarded HRC n lrm was looked at on the 13th that's all I know

@Oilytoe90 still got a couple days to get a decision for us before the bank holiday I'm sure I saw that they send out texts on the Saturdays aswell xx

Hopefully not long left for us now I'm feeling really impatient xx

Well I never got a text. I hope u get good news soon. I know very crazy I said it to the lady on the phone she just laffed, I'm as confused as any1 else y iv heard already

Maybe give them a call when I rang yesterday to see how much back payment it was and was told and was rewarded on 14th x

Does anyone know what happens wi child tax iv phoned them up n they said sumat about a disability payment? Does any one know what happens? Does it get backdated from the day my daughter got dla or does it just go from the day u told child tax. Do u get a payment into Ur bank. Or do u just get extra on Ur usual payment day

Hi @Emzmumof3 yeah you'll get extra child tax, if you claim uc it'll be with that but if not it'll be with your normal child tax every week. It also depends what award of care.your dc has been awarded.and they usually backdate it I think from when you applied I think not 100%

Ok thank u, I'm on income support n she's been awarded hrc wasn't sure if I would get a separate backdated payment or if it would b added to my weekly money of tc

@Emzmumof3 I'm sure your backdated isn't added to your weekly think you just get that randomly once they work it out 😊

I've finally posted my renewal. Can someone tell me what a 'scan date' is? I assume it's when they acknowledge receipt but do that text that to you or something?
