DLA Wait times 2022 Part 4

Thought I'd continue the thread as it had reached its limit.

My application will be awhile before any response but scanned 5 July and nothing yet.

She said it all depends on the work load the decision maker has x

@Oilytoe90 at least there seems to be some movement hopefully yours is getting there!

Definitely do! She was really nice. What she said was that it's taking 12-13 weeks to get to the decision maker. So I'm on 12 weeks 1 day which is why I said a week 😂 it could be sooner. Fingers crossed xx

@Oilytoe90 after all this and she doesn't get it IL hit the roof worst time of my life 😂xx

@Girlmum25 I’ll be fuming if they’d made us wait this long for a no! I’m totally with you there, it’s been utter hell! I’ve claimed DLA for my son for the last 6 years, stupid me sent his renewal forms in late so now it’s been classed as a new claim! I’ve never had to wait this long before, it’s honestly been a nightmare! But I’m so glad I’ve found this thread and found others in the same situation! At least we’re all in the same boat! Thank you to everyone on here and good luck to each and every one of you. Let’s hope we all get the help we need for our kids and soon! 🤞 xx

I put a note on my UC journal on the 5th September and they haven’t even replied to it yet 🙄 xx

i got a reply on mine the next day. I left one and was told to leave it for job coach coz may go through faster and I got a reply. It’s with DM now xx

Just got off phone and was told they are working on middle of June dates and I should hear next week.

Jeez how long have they been working on the middle of June !!!

They told me that our was with dm that was last week and we still not heard nothing and our scan date was 14th June. Its driving me mad when you call you get different story all the time

Wow. They taking their time. Maybe try calling again. U don't always get a text x

You should definitely call! I was down for a text alert but I didn’t get one, I called yesterday and told I was awarded! scan date 16th June X

I’ve just done the same message but done it to my work coach so will see if I get a reply x

Thanks guy I rang up and been told we been rewarded medium for care and when he turns 5 in nov we will get also Low mobility so I'm over the moon... 🙂

@Catsutt did they say when they made the decision trying to work out roughly mine my scan date is 23rd June x

Hey , they said the decision was made yesterday but he said they don't always get a text so always worth a call end of next week x

@Mumof3b I sent a message to my work coach on Tuesday and haven't heard anything back yet

I've done a change of circumstances on UC and also applied for carers allowance. Do I have to message my work coach directly too?
